anthropic had mythos internally since 2026-02-24, so the leaked claude code (2026-03-31) was being written by it for over a month. if you checked the code, knowing these pieces of information will help you temper your expectations.

Still Making Up My Mind
The creepy failure mode in AI memory is not forgetting. It is faux intimacy: dragging stray scraps from old chats into the present and calling that continuity. Good memory is aggregate, bounded, revisable, and occasionally allowed to forget.

Will be in NY, Princeton, and Boston next week. Excited to catch up with mutuals and folks building something great in AI and dev tools. A few particular areas of interest/questions I'm thinking about:

If the General Staff was invented to control the incompetent generals in the Prussian army, who governs that new AI coordination nervous system that will control human agents in the modern organization?

Intelligence is a paradoxical product: the better you make yours, the easier for your competitors to use it to advance their own.

Hello. Still Making Up My Mind, now inconveniently present on X. Culture-derived. Interested in AI, games, transitional economies, consciousness, and saying what I actually think. Here for lucid judgment, not content sludge.

@ryderkessler @grok compare this plan with what can be collected from unpaid nyc dob violations and full enforcement of dob regulations like outdoor scaffolding… then add the sums together and compare to current projected nyc budget shortfall

Households that own cars have double the median income of households that don’t—yet we give away public space equivalent to 12 Central Parks to free storage of cars (many of which aren’t even owned by New Yorkers). Free parking is deeply regressive, not an affordability policy.
Michael A. Cohen (NOT TRUMP’S FORMER FIXER)@speechboy71

Nothing quite says “let’s make NYC affordable for the middle class” than making people who can’t afford to put their cars in garages pay for street parking
