@ewanbirney Border control should not be a problem. In my youth I worked on the sleeper train Paris-Madrid-Paris. I was the one responsible for the passengers collecting their passport so I could show to border control while they continue sleeping 😴😁

I know this is a fantasy and no doubt unfeasible for tunnel safety and border control reasons, but a sleeper train London<=>Frankfurt (even better - but unlikely - London<=>Mannheim) would really change my life. More realistic, later night trains London <=> Paris / Brussels
