@InterFisting @autocorrect2_0 I retired in 2007 and this is an accurate statement. On the other hand I know vets who actually have service connected disabilities who struggled to get rated by the VA. Reform is needed on both sides.

I just retired after 21 years of service. I can guarantee you, there is a lot of fraud in VA benefits. Met several former Active Duty, that did 4 or less years and come out with 80% disability from “Anxiety” and “Mental Health.” Never deployed, never saw combat, many were pencil pushers.

Less than 1% of the population ever serves in the military. So maybe hush about VA benefits when you couldn’t be bothered

@LeighWolf I retired from the Navy in 2007 and was criticized for opting not to submit a VA claim as most of my fellow retirees did. I have a friend who was a Navy Musician and has a rated disability because asthma prevents him from playing his horn. Reform of the system is needed.

If you think the Somali fraud is bad, buckle up for the forthcoming reckoning over VA fraud. Nobody wants to talk about it because it inherently requires criticizing “veterans,” but the problem isn’t going to fix itself. There’s an entire cottage industry that helps “veterans” defraud the VA at the expense of veterans that are actually disabled. The culture has become so toxic and entitled that ALL veterans are advised to pursue a VA disability rating, regardless of the nature of their service. In fact, there’s now people joining specifically to pursue easy, lifetime “disability” payments. This behavior is enraging to people who are, or know, genuinely disabled veterans.
Paul@WomanDefiner

I am begging someone, anyone to clean up the disability fraud in the VA. This guy was a Navy reservist who went to school for the Government and got out after 2 years with disability benefits for anxiety and depression. This has to end.

@CynicalPublius My condolences on the passing of your brother. As a Navy retiree I've learned a great deal from you. Whether I agree with you or not on a particular subject I can count on you being truthful and sincere. I appreciate the knowledge I've gained and hope you stay in the battle.

My favorite part about getting doxxed by Deep State cowards is that they did it when they knew full well that I am deeply mourning the sudden loss of my brother. It's been all over my threads. They know it. Heck, that fact probably accelerated their timeline. The last week has been Hell for me and my family. These cowards made it worse. These are depraved people defending a depraved status quo, at any cost. And I'm ready.

@richimedhurst Having served on three CVNs I can confirm fires routinely occur and are a consistent issue which is why they have fire teams on watch and drill daily. While I can't confirm the claim the fire started in the laundry is accurate it's entirely possible.

@JesseKellyDC This is absolutely true. Having grown up in the 70s and 80s without cell phones and social media it's beyond my understanding why people make a public display of disagreements instead of addressing the individual directly.

It’s just wild to me how many people these days take a disagreement and make it public. Thus making an enemy for life. It’s everywhere now. Common people do it. Politicians do it. Celebrities. Pundits. Just stacking up mortal enemies like sardines. Wild to watch.

@infantrydort It absolutely matters. I served on CVNs in the 80s and early 90s and still remember surf and turf days after months at sea eating sliders and rabbit and drinking bug juice. You have to experience it to understand the importance.

Joking aside, the military divide is so wide you could put a field army in it. Hateful people will never understand what a good meal does to someone serving. They literally have no frame of reference. It’s not something that can be explained unless you live it. It matters.

@LauraLoomer I had respect for you in the past but no longer. This man is a veteran not active duty. You believe any veterans benefits he EARNED should be stripped from him for voicing his concerns about the war? As a Navy retiree and GWOT vet I find your comments out of line and disturbing.

US Marines are not allowed to engage in political activity while they are wearing their uniform. They are also not allowed to wave the flag of adversaries. If Brian McGinnis is getting military benefits, they should be stripped from him. He appears to be a Muslim convert, and he is married to a Muslim woman. It’s scary to think there may be other people like this who have served in our military. Total defector mentality. Very disturbing.
Laura Loomer@LauraLoomer

How can Brian McGinnis say he is speaking for US veterans when he is Muslim First and Palestinian First? Here is a video I found on his Muslim wife’s social media account where he is wearing his military uniform while waving a Palestinian flag. Embarrassing. He and his wife are simply Muslims who naturally hate Jews as Muslims because Islam commands all Muslims to kill non-Muslims and demonize Israel. As I said before, a lot of the chaos you’re seeing as we head into the midterms coming from the Woke Reich and radical left is all an Islamic movement. @TimSheehyMT

@shanaka86 This is nothing new. Although the policy is to avoid CVN deployments longer than 6 months extensions occur routinely. I deployed 4 times onboard 2 carriers and we were extended each time. Morale is certainly a concern the longer the extension lasts.

The USS Gerald R. Ford has been at sea for 241 days. Her deployment has been extended twice. She is now heading back toward the Middle East for a third time, and the Wall Street Journal just published what the Pentagon does not want you to read. Sailors are missing funerals. Missing births. Missing their children’s first steps. The ship’s sewage system is failing, requiring maintenance calls every single day and acid flushes costing $400,000 each. Crew members are telling reporters they want to quit the Navy. Morale is described in terms that defense journalists have not used since Vietnam-era reporting. This deployment is on track to reach 11 months. The post-Vietnam record is 294 days, set by the USS Abraham Lincoln during COVID in 2020. The Ford will break it. And she is not coming home. Here is what the human toll tells you about the strike calculus that no OSINT flight tracker can. The United States Navy operates 11 aircraft carriers. The Ford carries approximately 5,000 sailors and over 75 aircraft. Extending her deployment twice, at enormous cost to crew retention, family stability, and mechanical readiness, is not something the Navy does for leverage. The Navy fights extensions. Carrier strike group commanders fight extensions. The families lobby Congress against extensions. Extensions happen over institutional resistance when the mission authority, in this case the Commander in Chief, has determined that the asset cannot leave theater. The Ford cannot leave theater because nothing has replaced her and the mission she was sent to support has not been completed or cancelled. Think about what “extended twice” means operationally. The first extension signals that the original timeline was optimistic. The second extension signals that the mission itself has changed. You do not burn through crew morale, defer scheduled maintenance, and risk retention crises across your most advanced warship for a contingency. You do it for a commitment. Now connect the dots. The Ford crossed into the Mediterranean on February 20, adding her air wing to the 500-plus aircraft already in theater. Nine C-17s carrying 700 tonnes of munitions are en route. Hundreds of personnel evacuated from Al Udeid. A P-8A is mapping the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC is massing at the Iraqi border. Khamenei has activated shadow government protocols. Graham is lobbying for strikes. Trump’s deadline expires in days. And Witkoff just told Fox that Iran is one week from bomb-making material. The Ford’s sailors are paying the human cost of a decision that has already been made in everything but name. You do not break a post-Vietnam deployment record, destroy your crew’s families, and risk the readiness of your most expensive warship to park it in the Mediterranean as a prop. The $13.3 billion ship is not a negotiating tactic. She is a weapons delivery platform. And she has been held in place, at extraordinary cost, because someone in the chain of command has determined she will be needed. Sailors do not miss their children’s births for bluffs. The stage is not being set. The stage was set weeks ago. What you are watching now is the cost of holding the curtain.

YES, IN CAPS ...  IF WE DO NOT TAKE OUT THE IRANIAN REGIME NOW, IT WILL NEVER BE DONE, AND OUR CHILDREN AND FREEDOM-LOVING PEOPLE EVERYWHERE WILL NEVER FORGIVE US. IF WE ALLOW AN ISLAMIST TERROR REGIME, WITH WORLDWIDE GENOCIDAL AMBITIONS, TO FESTER, THEN GROW, THEN CONQUER, WITH THE MOST CUTTING EDGE WEAPONS OF ANNIHILATION IMAGINABLE, MANKIND WILL NEVER FORGIVE US.  THESE MASS MURDERERS WILL USE THESE WEAPONS, BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE ALLAH WANTS THEM TO ELIMINATE ALL COUNTRIES, SOCIETIES, AND PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CONFORM TO THEIR 7TH CENTURY DEATH CULT -- SUBJUCATING AND MURDERING NOT JUST MILLIONS BUT HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF HUMAN-BEINGS.  LET IT BE SAID THAT THERE ARE THOSE OF US WHO KNOW THIS, WHO ARE DOING EVERYTHING WE CAN TO PERSUADE THE POWERS THAT BE, TO PUT AN END TO THIS GENOCIDAL REGIME WHILE IT IS WEAKER THAN IT HAS EVER BEEN.  DEALS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN PAPER AGREEMENTS THAT MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THIS REGIME AND, IN FACT, SUCH A PAPER AGREEMENT WOULD BE A DEATH WARRANT FOR THE WEST AND OUR CHILDREN.  AND THE FAILURE OF OUR GENERATION TO DO WHAT MUST BE DONE IN DEFENSE OF HUMANITY, DEMOCRACY, AND FREEDOM, FOR EACH AND EVERY SUCCEEDING GENERATION, WILL BE THE MOST GRIEVOUS YET UTTERLY AVOIDABLE MAN-MADE DISASTER IN HISTORY.  LET US NOT SELF-RIGHTEOUSLY DELUDE OURSELVES THAT SOME NEGOTIATED DEAL IS ANYTHING OTHER THAN APPEASEMENT AND, ULTIMATELY, SURRENDER.

As I have been saying for a very long time: serial 8, 9, and 11 month deployments should--rightfully--be seen as a primary indicator of the failure of every CNO and SECNAV of the previous two decades to make the sale that our Navy is too small for what the nation asks of it. Look at what the expended their personal and institutional capital on--and then behold the fruits of their efforts. It is Sailor abuse and is preventing our Navy from doing what needs to be done for the big fight history is waiting to deliver to us west of the international date line.
Gregory Brew@gbrew24

USS Ford is on track for an 11-month deployment, nearly twice as long as normal. Sailors are missing family. Equipment is under strain. The toilets don't work properly. wsj.com/us-news/missed…

RE: Certain Facts I believe it is important that, from time to time, certain facts regarding contemporary political issues be stated as an antidote to the non-stop propaganda and lies of the Democrat/Media Complex. Here are a dozen such facts: 1. Men cannot get pregnant. 2. Telling young soldiers to not follow lawful orders they disagree with politically by pretending those orders are “unlawful” is a form of sedition. 3. Anyone who interferes with ICE agents in the lawful performance of their duties commits a felony under 18 U.S. Code § 111. 4. The only civilian court with jurisdiction in UCMJ matters is the Supreme Court. 5. Democrats deliberately establish voting systems that make it virtually impossible to conclusively prove voter fraud. 6. The reasons why Renee Good and Alex Pretti are dead are as follows: Renee Good; Alex Pretti. 7. In 2020, 315,000 unlawful ballots in Fulton County, Georgia were illegally counted. 8. Thomas Massie’s only actual “principle” is narcissism. 9. The climate is always changing and mankind is not the cause. 10. Epstein was a Democrat. 11. Black people and women are not too stupid to obtain IDs. 12. The Krassenstein Brothers are not actually Oompa Loompas, as many have asserted.

Pam Bondi showed again yesterday why I’m her biggest fan. She is bold, fearless, and never intimidated by Democrats. They brought a butter knife to a gunfight, and she dismantled them. She came prepared and in command, laying out how she is making America safe again for President Trump. Real Americans care about their families’ safety, not DC drama, and Pam Bondi is delivering results. Accountability is coming for the weaponized agencies, and without it, we lose our country. Pam Bondi is restoring the Constitution and the sovereign power of We The People. Thanks for having me, @jsolomonReports.

No. The Ford can be deployed there in a pinch. A few more months for a war is something they’d be happy to do. The Bush’s pre deployment work up can be cut short, as pre deployment leave, and eastern Med is 7 days away after that. The Japan stationed carrier should also be deployed to the region, China will be fine.

Besides the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) already in the Arabian Sea, only one other carrier is deployed right now and could immediately head to the region, that being the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) currently operating in the Caribbean. However, for a number of reasons, one being that the carrier has already been deployed for going on eight months as well as several problems recently aboard the Ford, she will not be going to the Middle East. The only carrier that could deploy anytime soon to the Middle East would be the USS George H.W. Bush, who is currently completing her Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the coast of Virginia for a scheduled deployment later this year, with the exercise likely taking roughly two more weeks and then at least two weeks to reach the U.S. Central Command’s Area-of-Responsibility near Iran. The USS George Washington (CVN-73) is available to deploy from Fleet Activities Yokosuka in Japan, however this would leave the Indo-Pacific without an aircraft carrier to counter China.
OSINTdefender@sentdefender

President Donald J. Trump told Axios in an interview Tuesday that he's considering sending a second aircraft carrier strike group to the Middle East to prepare for military action against Iran if ongoing negotiations fail, with Trump telling Barack Ravid, “We have an armada that is heading there and another one might be going.” A U.S. official confirmed to Axios that there had been discussions about sending a second aircraft carrier strike group to the region, though officials could not say which carrier that would be and how long it could take to reach the U.S. Central Command’s Area-of-Responsibility. “Last time they didn't believe I would do it,” President Trump said during the interview, alluding to his decision to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities last June. “They overplayed their hand,” but this time the talks are “very different,” claiming that “We can make a great deal with Iran.”
