@amster Thanks so very much for the illustration, we see what you mean here! Unfortunately it isn't possible to disable this entirely, but it raises an interesting point that we'll consider when planning future improvements.

Hi @SlackHQ, you can theme the sidebar sure. But can we get theming for the messages? I would love to turn -off- the highlight when hovering over a message.

@SlackHQ See attached. As the mouse walks over the post it highlights, but the highlight takes the height of the window. I'd love to turn that highlight off.

@amster Just to be sure we are on the same page - would you be so kind and share a short recording of the "blinking" you'd see on your end?

@SlackHQ Thanks @SlackHQ. The use case is when you run Slack in a large window and there is a message that is very long, when you mouse over it, the whole screen "blinks". I would like it not to blink.
