@chris_storey @LNER This could be the differentiator for rail operators Chris. Like you say, easy to do. I'm on a Grand Central train right now with digital displays above every seat. The potential is there but they're all switched off!

Why is @LNER 's reservation service so poor? 1. Reservations should always appear before the doors are open. 2. Reserving a seat should involve a. Using a qr code or id based on the seat (we should know where the set is) and identifying my exit station. It's not hard!

Sprained my ankle heading down into Lothersdale, about 65 miles into @TheSpineRace. I was sticking closely to my sub 80 hour schedule, trying not to get too eager early on. Conditions are fantastic & I hope the remaining runners can continue enjoying them.

@Anne_Tweetings @TPEassist @TPExpressTrains We're lucky to be able to work 60% from home. You're right, if you work in a shop or whatever this is unworkable. The loss in jobs won't be made up for by faster trains and longer bedtime stories.

@andyandyandyty @TPEassist @TPExpressTrains Nope. I was going to miss too many meetings if I got a train later than 8.38 or if I got a rail replacement bus (which may or may not have existed). Instead, I'm missing the one meeting I was trying to get in for.

So 5 of my 6 pre-9am trains tomorrow are already cancelled. How are people supposed to get to work @TPExpressTrains?
