@MarkAllenGolf I think the cypress trees at the Olympic Club (San Francisco) are what makes that course. They were planted when the course was built on a barren hillside. Besides the spectacular aesthetic appeal, those trees are real hazards because they reach out and snare offline shots.

The Old Course at The National GC looked fabulous today. I will never, ever understand the push to remove and not replace the greatest ever “golf trees” - Cyprus trees - just because they aren’t indigenous… what a load of crap. Have a look at the second pic. They are magnificent! I’m not sure who tiled the cart paths 40 years ago - but they are a superb look too. (if you have to have them… ) Side note - 10/10 for the placement of rakes. Out of the bunkers as they should be 😀

I'm a Dem. Voted straight dem up and down ticket. I think the theoretical arguments is NOT that millions voted from trump plus dems down ballot. But rather, that millions voted only for trump and LEFT the rest of the ballot BLANK. Meanwhile, many others voted dem straight ticket. Enough so that the down ballot dems won. Easy to check - what's the total number of trump votes in each swing state, vs the total number of Blue Congressional votes in each swing state.

I do not believe in the mirage of voters who voted the whole down ballot Dem but also voted Trump. Apparently, millions of Americans did that, but I haven’t seen or heard of a single one. So if that’s you, please explain.
