@chiefjonken @AngusBMacNeil You are wrong. It was an exercise in democracy. There was no media bias. People expressed their opinions on TV, in newspapers, online in the pub and on the streets. It's sour grapes from those claiming otherwise. We had a free and fair referendum, and "Yes" lost.

The referendum was an opinion poll and the pre-requiste was owning property here.
People who werent Scottish were allowed to vote, there was heavy media bias, and there was no international supervision, it was a managed opinion poll, nothing more.
Do you seriously think if it had went the other way, the English coloniser would have accepted the decision.
