Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

My boyfriend and I are planning to buy a house together after dating for 3 years. He earns significantly more than I do, so he’d be contributing about 70% of the down payment. Because of that, he wants the house to be only in his name. He says it’s just “fair” based on the numbers, but we’d both be living there, splitting bills, and building a life together. I’ve been watching a lot of relationship content about equity vs equality, and it made me realize things don’t always have to be 50/50 but this feels like I’d have no security at all. He said if we ever broke up, he’d “do the right thing,” but that doesn’t really reassure me. My friends say don’t move in unless my name is on it. His friends apparently think I’m being entitled. Now I feel stuck between trusting him and protecting myself. Is this a red flag I’m trying too hard to rationalize?

@RonFilipkowski False - the Biden DOJ started it in TX and be careful, the mass exodus of cities already from those status will be a blood bath when census is done in 2030.

Democrats did not want to do any mid-decade redistricting. It was Trump who started it in June 2025 with a phone call to Greg Abbott after more special election losses. Dems warned they’d respond. But Texas did it anyway - without the consent of the voters. Then Dems responded.

@PDogMc11 @RonFilipkowski Not a liberal judge in Texas. GQP has been running the state for decades. No liberal judges left. It was our toady governor and corrupt Attorney General who allowed that. Facts!

@jproodian @RonFilipkowski I dispute the “very red” state for my state of Texas. We’ve been illegally gerrymandered and run by the GQP for several decades. It is nearly the exact same universe, only we were denied the opportunity to vote on it.

@RonFilipkowski Keep on lying. TX has 65% republican seats in a very red state. VA now has 90% democrat seats in a nearly 50-50 purple state. This isn’t even in the same universe close.

@Baconguy5678 @RonFilipkowski It doesn’t even take that. Greg Abbutt answered the call from the White House and re-drew FIVE congressional districts to benefit the GQP here in Texas. We didn’t even get to vote on it.

@RonFilipkowski What you're missing. If this precedent stands in Virginia it means that any state in the country that can muster a 1% majority in a vote can draw the other political party completely out of their maps with no fair reason or justification at all. Red state lottery!

@RonFilipkowski They also did the mid-decade redistricting bc the 2020 census was acknowledged to have had several egregious counting errors that all benefitted Democrat control. But you don't want to mention that.

No tenía sentido, dijeron. No nosotros.

My husband invited his new coworkers over for dinner. When they arrived he introduced me by gesturing at me and saying "this is mrs Smith (didn't even say my name)...the housewife!" I looked at him for a second then I started laughing hysterically. I then told said "no honey I work full time and YES I still act like a housewife when I'm home because you simply can't bother to help". His co workers were staring at him as he tried to laugh and change the subject and ask what they wanted to drink. Dinner went super awkward with him giving me looks and stares. Once the guests left he blew up saying I embarrassed him by laughing like a lunatic and then making the comment I made infront of his new coworks and ruining his image. I told him he was wrong to lie about my status and deny my degree to begin with. He said I could've talked to him about it privately later but not like this, and making his coworkers think he's useless. He stormed off and has been quiet the entire night. Was i out of line?
