Building the top collaborative early stage venture firm

Come with me to a VC AGM! AGM stands for Annual General Meeting. Typically VC firms invite portfolio companies, LPs, and friends of the fund to discuss investments, trends, and network with people associated with the fund. Today I went to my friend @paigefinnn 's fund's AGM. I was at the BGV AGM last year too—I was super impressed by Paige because she's very confident, creative, and really going after things she wants to accomplish! The highlight of today's AGM? We literally had a rock-paper-scissors championship between presentations! People were mingling and having fun. I caught up with VC and founder friends and met some really cool creator friends. I just hosted my own AI venture conference last week, which gave me perspective on the power of community. Gatherings like this are so important for building relationships that last. No matter how advanced AI becomes, the connections we make with each other are what truly matter. What's the most memorable event you've been to lately? Tell me what made it special! #VC #agm #startup #founder

Thank you @paigefinnn for inviting me to BGV’s AGM today! Watching a great friend build such an impressive fund is truly inspiring. Your vision and execution continue to inspire me. Highlight of the day? That rock-paper-scissors tournament between presentations! Loved reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting brilliant new minds from both the VC and creator worlds. The conversations reminded me why we're all in this - to grow together and build something meaningful. Here's to more shared successes ahead! 🚀 #Agm #vc

Over the last decade, the concept of borderless payments was frequently hailed as crypto’s ultimate killer use case. But for an idea arguably as old as the industry itself, we still have yet to see platforms solving this problem for consumers at scale. In this piece, @bridge__harris and I explore why this may have been the case in the past — and why we think this time, things might be different. Perhaps what once was old is new again...
