Announcing Our $3.8M Seed Round to Make Voice AI Agents Reliable 🎙 If 2024 was the year of demos, 2025 is the year of reliable voice agents. We’re excited to share that @HammingAI has raised $3.8M in seed funding led by @MischiefVC, with participation from @ycombinator, @aigrant, @pioneer_fund, @CoughdropCap, @coalitionvc, @orangecollectv, @twentytwovc, @transposevc, @OliveTreeCap and an incredible group of angels. Read more about us here: 1) Blog: hamming.ai/blog/hamming-a… 2) Coverage by Kerry Flynn from Axios: axios.com/pro/media-deal… Humans make billions of calls every day. AI voice agents will perform a majority of these calls. Ensuring their reliability is tough — small changes can break responses, and manual testing doesn’t scale. Even when you ship your voice agents to production, teams spend hours manually listening to calls to find bugs and edge cases. At @HammingAI, we automate testing, monitoring, and governance for Voice AI agents, helping teams catch failures, optimize prompts, and flag edge cases in production. Hamming makes your Voice AI agents trustworthy. Thanks to our team, customers, and investors for believing in this mission.

.@paradedb is announcing a new Postgres analytics extension called 𝐩𝐠_𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞. It is designed for fast analytics from Postgres over cloud object storage file formats (Parquet) and table formats (Iceberg). You can query tables stored in S3, Google, Azure from Postgres
Philippe Noël@philippemnoel

1/18 I'm incredibly excited to announce @duckdb in @PostgreSQL in the latest version of @paradedb. When we set to bring fast analytics to Postgres earlier this year, we did not expect the journey to take us here. Here's what happened 🧵

When I met @aboodman on the Google bus in 2007, he had this crazy idea to put a database in the browser, now it’s happening, listen to this podcast to hear more.
Aaron Boodman@aboodman

In 2007 I joined a team at Google with the crazy idea to put a database in the browser. That database: SQLite. The Gears project was killed, as was the next attempt to put SQLite in the browser, and the two after that. Nearly two decades later, the dream is finally materializing. We’re on the cusp of a revolution in web app development. Local-first products like @replicache and @hello_reflect will dramatically change the way we build the web, massively improving both its ux and dx. Listen to the entire tale of how we finally got local-storage in browsers in this interview with @schickling. Thank you Johannes for the invite, this was super fun!

BDS claims that Anti-Zionism has nothing to do with Antisemitism. Vandalizing the Shorenstein Aleichem Cultural Center in the Bronx with the words ‘Free Palestine’ is not only Anti-Zionist. It’s antisemitic. Celebrating the mass murder of Jews (“resistance); calling for the mass murder of Jews (“globalize the intifada”); committing mass murder against Jews (October 7)… All of these are not only Anti-Zionist. They’re Antisemitic.

🚀🌟 Woo..hoo.. SigNoz Reaches 15,000 Stars on GitHub! 🌟🚀 When we started 💻 writing the first line of code of what would become SigNoz, we were not sure if this is something which the world needed. It was just something which we thought should exist..

I went to Washington Square Park today. Because I have the luxury of not being “obviously Jewish,” I stood and watched the protest in front me. “From the river to the sea.” “Get rid of f*cking all of them.” I stood in a wasteland of people who wanted me dead. Now. In 2023.

Protesting & criticizing Israel is one thing. We have a proud history of protest, which I fully support. Calling for the destruction of Israel, engaging in support for Hamas & its pogrom, & harassing Jews & Jewish businesses is quite another. This line is being crossed🧵

Planning to homeschool our children, have you pulled your kids out of public school or decided to homeschool from scratch? If so, why? Curious what motivates each person to make this choice.

If you live in NY, you hear airplanes overhead - 3+ airports around w constant flights. Living in Jerusalem for the last ~8 years, there is no jet noise. No Fly Zone. The last 2+ days I've heard constant jets overhead. It's disconcerting and comforting at the same time.
