Yes, this is a milestone. Bending Genres Issue 50, published today! Chock full of hybrid poems, CNF and flash, this issue is on FIRE with springtime! Thanks editors, both previous and current. And thanks lit community, for thriving during these unsettling times.

@CalMorgan @franzsherbert Absolutely. Which isn't to say the others aren't all fantastic songs; George really hit his stride (briefly) in the Beatles' later years, learning from the 2 best songwriters on the planet. But It's All Too Much is just pure sonic psychedelic overload unique in their catalog.

It rules that the Blue Album has like a dozen iconic epochal tracks and then something called "Old Brown Shoe" (?)

@BeckyLTuch Start with 20%; then ramp it up.

@BeckyLTuch It's lazy because it's an easy to fix problem: each year set X percent of your prize/anthology space for new journals/new writers. Then you'll have to look for new writers/new journals instead of featuring the same people over and over.

Same mags appearing in anthologies year after year, same mags winning awards, same mags getting grants...why?
