Hi! I’m Bethany. I write surreal and existential stories. Full pieces are linked in my website here.

In this thread, I’ll summarize each story whenever they’re published and ready to read. Thanks! ✨ (Pictures used are from Pinterest.)

Update: other than a friend of mine, no one will get the "bonus" chapter. 🥲 It seems that a "bonus" chapter is not enticing enough a reward to get people to review. What should I offer instead? I don't have much. Lmao.

Editing a deleted “bonus” chapter from my novella Methuselah, which I am planning to send as an exclusive thank-you to the book’s supporters. So much fun. I missed these wacky characters!!

@bdcutkomp Well, essentially, I drink in a shed in order to convert scotch into psychic goodwill energy that I can transfer to anyone in the world

Hate to break it to you: the poets and writers you “know” online aren't really your friends. There are barely any readers for most of our work. We're heading into darkness. Write for yourself. Not for the magazines, not for the $30 a magazine pays for a poem.
