For all those people out there that begrudge pensioners receiving a measly pension, they still pay Council Tax, pay for food, heating & other bills. Illegal migrants pay for nothing. Why don’t you begrudge this? Why do you begrudge elderly people when they’ve paid taxes all their lives but don’t begrudge unknown people who’ve paid nothing. Why?

@benson70837 @readerofbooks90 Yes but proud people don't usually march around holding a flag, apropos of nothing. I agree that it can be interpreted as pride before a fall, but I interpret it as "blind faith" - i.e. blindly following an ideology, regardless of where it leads you. Just like the GRA.
