@hannytalker If the Nigerian government will improve the ports from the loans or whatever arrangements they have with UK then it's a win for everyone

Let me explain what this means for Nigeria in simple terms. The UK's export finance agency (UKEF) is guaranteeing a loan, not donating money. Nigeria borrows, Nigeria repays. In return, £236 million in contracts flows to British suppliers, and 120,000 tonnes of British steel are purchased. The UK is creating jobs for its own economy. This is a commercial arrangement, not a charity. Right now, Apapa and Tin Can Island ports rank 311th globally. Cargo sits at the port for up to 15 days before it moves. That delay costs money, demurrage fees, storage fees, and congestion. Those costs do not disappear. They travel down the supply chain and land on the price of everything you buy. The rice. The electronics. The spare parts. You have been paying an invisible port tax your entire life. It just never had a name. If this deal delivers, cargo dwell time drops to 1-5 days, logistics costs per container fall from $2,000 to $1,000-$1,500, and large vessels that currently bypass Lagos for Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire can dock directly. Now here is the part nobody is talking about: your career and your hustle. If this thing delivers, even partially, certain sectors are going to grow fast, and they will need people. If you are in logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or supply chain, this is your moment to position yourself. Port operations at this scale will need professionals who understand the business. The volume and complexity will increase and companies will be looking for people who know what they are doing. If you are in trade finance or banking, watch the agro-commodity export space closely. Non-oil exports are projected to grow 19.6% directly from this. Nigerian farmers and processors who could not export competitively before because the port costs killed their margins, that equation changes. If you run a manufacturing or agro-processing business, your input costs could drop significantly if logistics costs fall as projected. Some product lines that were previously unviable against cheaper imports may finally make sense to produce locally. And if you are an entrepreneur in any import-dependent business, lower logistics costs mean better margins, more predictable supply chains, and room to price more competitively than you could before.

🚨BREAKING! The 🇬🇧UK plans to lend £746 Million to 🇳🇬Nigeria to help them refurbish their Ports. The consistent aid given to African is getting out of hand! Africa has received more “aid” in the last century than Britain did after the Blitz. The UK received $3.7billion in aid from the US and this was after a BRUTAL WORLD WAR and they used that money wisely to rebuild the UK into the state we see today. Not only that, most of the African politicians are living better than European politicians in 20 bedroom mansions whilst the general Africa public live in poverty …. Where is this aid going ???

Let me tell you something that’s been on my mind. I manage a property for a woman abroad. I went to check on a tenant who’s having issues with rent. When I got there, I found out the tenant lives with his 3 wives in a 1-bedroom apartment. Since I left, all I can think about is how do they even manage the sleeping arrangement? Like… HOW?

From my calculations, I might receive half of the minimum wage from the NGX (in dividends alone, excluding capital growth). The best part is I carried others along. The goal is to receive annual income to fund a bourgeoisie lifestyle while still achieving capital growth. Starting early is my greatest moat.

My mum was always against me having female friends. when I was writing JAMB, there was this friend of mine then at my jamb tutorial, very beautiful babe. Her street was inside mine so we would always walk past my house every evening after tutorials. Me being the good guy, would walk her past my place to her own house and she'd get home and walk me back halfway to my place and we'd both go our separate ways after. My mum found out and didn't like it, she warned me but I was adamant. On this faithful day, My friend didn't see me at the tutorial for two days and thought to come check on me at home. When she came, I wasn't home. She knocked and my mum answered, my mum was very hostile towards her and eyed her uncomfortably, she complained to me and a couple of weeks later we stopped being friends because she was under the impression that my mum h@ted her. I was vexed and I told my mum that since she didn't want me to have female friends, I'd become gay. I vowed to never talk to any girl again. She thought it was jokes till I legit started ignoring every girl in our vicinity. Neighbours, church members or random people, it didn't matter who it was and whenever they asked what happened I'd say "my mummy asked me to not talk to any girl again and I was to become gay on my mum's wishes." She got angry but slowly the anger turned to fear. It took the intervention of our youth minister in church to speak to me before I decided it was enough, I didn't speak to any lady we both knew for 3 months straight.

Let me tell you guys a story my mom told us while we were growing up. According to her, when she was still in school, two of her classmates were so much in love and wanted to marry by all means. But the issue was that in those days, before two people got married, their parents usually did what the Igbos called “iju ase” especially the bride’s family. The girl was from Imo State while the guy was from Anambra. That was the first challenge they had. The guy’s parents insisted that he must marry someone from Anambra. They dragged and dragged it for months and later overcame it. When they thought their problems were over, that was when the guy’s family decided to make inquiries about the girl’s family only to discover that she was an Osu. If you are Igbo, you know what it meant in those days for someone to be an Osu, and the stigmatization that came with it. That was how they entered another round of battle with both parents. The boy’s mom said over her dead body would she allow her child to marry an Osu. The girl’s parents, seeing all the drama, advised her to forget about the guy because even if they managed to move past this roadblock, she still would not enjoy the marriage because her mother-in-law would always be on her neck. The guy convinced her that they could fight for their lives. And guess what they did? You guessed right, they decided to enter a blood covenant, promising themselves that no matter what happened, they would still love each other and would eventually marry. You can guess how the whole thing ended.

2023 i sold some USDT worth over 8 million just to play 1.9 odd Lakers VS Warriors basketball game and I lost. I drank a full bottle of Carlo Rossi wine and dozed off. I Woke up around 11am and went straight to my betting history, that was when I discovered I’ve lost over 16 million+ to betting. Mind you this was 2023 alone and it wasn’t even the end of the year. Right there I deactivated and deleted all my betting accounts and never looked back. BEST DECISION EVER!
