@WSJopinion I’m no fan of the any evil regime, but did this evil regime do what it did before or after our evil regime attacked it?
English

Tehran has tried to take hostage its neighbors, the Strait of Hormuz and the global economy with it. Seeing the mission through is a better option than chasing the regime with offers of ransom.

Druski sets off outrage after dressing as Erika Kirk in latest viral skit: 'This is too far' trib.al/Dx49onr

English

@nypost We have reached the point where the left thinks its funny to mock a widow, mother of two small children that had her husband assassinated. What's next? Mocking Jackie O.
English

@nypost Druski is a POS human being. It’s that simple. Scumbag looks for attention every day. It’s mental.
English

@nypost I’m all for comedy. I thought his skit for mocking rednecks at a nascar race was hilarious but this isn’t something to joke about. I’m all for making fun of people, I make fun of people myself but I refuse to mock a grieving widow
English

@nypost This is a black man dressed in a white woman's face. So it's okay to do blackface now right? We all good?
English

@nypost Humor Alert! Mocking a widow whose husband was assassinated is not funny.

@nypost This is not about being offended by a joke.
It is about mocking a man’s wife after he was assassinated.
That is not comedy, that is cheap and disrespectful.
Some things should be off limits if you have any standards at all.

@nihilitatis_rex @_OKJ__ @HegelianFallout That’s basically right— the Bible is a library, not a single genre book. The tension is that the text itself clearly uses poetry, allegory, and storytelling, but many readers flatten it into literal history. That gap is where most debates come from.
English

@brathet @_OKJ__ @HegelianFallout it's not so much "a book" as it is a collection of dozens of texts. it's fairly easy to tell by context which ones are allegorical, which ones are poetic, which ones are attempts at recording history, etc.
English

The story of the fall in the garden of eden is an incredibly stupid story.
It’s like a father who puts their child in a room with a venomous snake, then tells the child not to touch or go near the snake, knowing fully well that the child has absolutely no understanding of the consequences of touching the snake and then seriously punishing the child and all the child’s descendants that have absolutely nothing to do with the initial event, for being bitten by the snake.
And then calling the father all loving and good.
No story ever written is more stupid.

Start a problematic discourse:
English

@HegelianFallout @nihilitatis_rex @_OKJ__ You’re describing consequences, not sin
Some behaviors have downsides—that’s psychology
Calling them “sin” just adds a label, not proof
English

Let’s take 1 concept that directly translates to reality and human choice Sin. Each sin represents outcomes of actions that echo across time even without the Bible they have validation to human psychology. If your prideful usually negative outcomes. Greedy negative outcomes sloth yes negative outcomes. These are fundamental moral concepts that give us real world guidance that was given to us and weather you believe in religion or not have value and should give authority on morality.

@atrupar @OldSaltNewPeppa I agree completely — I would like to see him take a cognitive test live on television … and an AP History test, and Econ 101 test, and the Jump All But One game at Cracker Barrel, and Scrabble, and Mastermind, and Trivial Pursuit, and a timed multiplication table, and Operation
