@HegelianFallout @brathet @_OKJ__ my worldview is broadly panentheist/Taoist with Christian/Jewish upbringing/cultural overtones; i believe we’re here to overcome various spiritual & material challenges with the purpose being to evolve both individually through repeated lifetimes and collectively through the ages
English

@nihilitatis_rex @brathet @_OKJ__ True to an extent because you can’t prove the events did not happen the way there portrayed. To get a better understanding I need to know what you believe to be the reality we live in and how it’s started more importantly why?
English

The story of the fall in the garden of eden is an incredibly stupid story.
It’s like a father who puts their child in a room with a venomous snake, then tells the child not to touch or go near the snake, knowing fully well that the child has absolutely no understanding of the consequences of touching the snake and then seriously punishing the child and all the child’s descendants that have absolutely nothing to do with the initial event, for being bitten by the snake.
And then calling the father all loving and good.
No story ever written is more stupid.

Start a problematic discourse:
English

@nihilitatis_rex @_OKJ__ @HegelianFallout That’s basically right— the Bible is a library, not a single genre book. The tension is that the text itself clearly uses poetry, allegory, and storytelling, but many readers flatten it into literal history. That gap is where most debates come from.
English

@brathet @_OKJ__ @HegelianFallout it's not so much "a book" as it is a collection of dozens of texts. it's fairly easy to tell by context which ones are allegorical, which ones are poetic, which ones are attempts at recording history, etc.
English

@nihilitatis_rex @_OKJ__ @HegelianFallout Please tell us exactly which parts of an ancient book that people still claim should have authority in our society are allegorical and which are literal, and how do we know how to determine that
English

@HegelianFallout @_OKJ__ i understand that twitter threading can be confusing, but i was directly replying to the other guy who wrote “I’m not even sure how to begin to engage with this” in response to you. he also posted the ‘original’ (for this thread) juvenile interpretation (“its a stupid story”)
English

It’s actually a theory based in human psychology, historically interpretations and science. If the event written in the bible are to be taken serious and you put your faith in it you would need to interpret the events with reason and context. I’m extrapolating on the nuance of actions taken by figures in the story of creation. If it’s strictly allegory then it should be looked upon with deeper understanding of possible implications to reality.
All religions are allegory at this point in history and require faith to believe.
My interpretation tries to connect allegory to reality to find the truth of human existence.
My juvenile interpretation is quite logical and reasonable.
Please explain how it’s not ?
English

@JudoIsBetter using the same side every time is not optimal practice
English

@MrLiverpool_19 @HegelianFallout @kevinblue345 y'know... taking up the exact same practice makes you equally as wrong for doing it. 😐
if 90% of ppl jailed for weed are black, it doesn't actually mean whites use weed less. if 90% of ppl jailed for sex deviancy are white, it doesn't actually mean blacks are less deviant.
English

@HegelianFallout @kevinblue345 Your pedo morally bankrupt community is notorious for judging black people collectively for isolated individual actions😭😭😭

English

@_OKJ__ @HegelianFallout i'm not suggesting this person's interpretation is flawless, but regardless:
you need to realize that your own [clearly-juvenile] interpretation of what is fundamentally allegorical is not the ONLY (let alone the most logical or reasonable) way to interpret the allegory. 🤷♂️🫤
English

@HegelianFallout I’m not even sure how to begin to engage with this

@jtlovitt @KylewhiteNew JT, master and commander of shitty idiot takes

@KylewhiteNew Usyk is amateur who thinks winning is triggering the sensors on the gloves, pitty pat pitty pat, no punch mfer. Fury has a right that will put opponents to sleep. And his giant Frazier cross arm defense good too.

@westhillsn68977 @BulwarkOnline “false lawyers in the certification cult are wrong”, says random twitter lunatic who doesn’t practice law himself 🥱🥱🥱🙄🙄🙄
English

@nihilitatis_rex @BulwarkOnline The law is the law, and cases are cases, false lawyers in the certification cult believe that settled cases are the law, they are wrong.
English

@nihilitatis_rex @BulwarkOnline The people have the authority to determine when the courts have committed an unconstitutional crime with their actions
English

@westhillsn68977 @BulwarkOnline they have since 1803 as established in Marbury v. Madison.
but look… you can have whatever sovereign-citizen-adjacent opinion you want. you have the freedom to be wrong and dumb.
English

@nihilitatis_rex @BulwarkOnline No they don’t, that power resides with the people
English

@westhillsn68977 @BulwarkOnline no one, including Paul, thinks that courts write new legislation… but courts absolutely have the power to invalidate and void existing legislation if deemed unconstitutional. it’s been that way for almost as long as the U.S. has existed. 🙄
English

@BulwarkOnline It hasn’t, Mr Paul believes that the courts legislate; they do not.
English

@thementalfix @QueenMadgeI @UsedTampon2001 @hayfarani it’s funny that you talk about probability when (a) you haven’t actually done the math, and (b) the algorithm is opaque.
you’re making assumptions and guesses and have already decided they’re facts. a stupid approach, befitting a stupid person.
English

@QueenMadgeI @UsedTampon2001 @hayfarani Both claiming to have apartments there while not living there, and both showed up on my timeline back to back.

The chances are .00000000001/1
English

@WincerDude @hayfarani of all the replies you’ve gotten, not a single one is in support of what you wrote. every single person responding is pointing out the extreme stupidity of your statement or outright calling you an idiot.
if it’s on purpose, remember you earn nothing from non-verified accounts.
English

@nihilitatis_rex @hayfarani Well, that’s your very subjective opinion.
English

@WincerDude @hayfarani “So, what would have made the loss of it any different if [the situation that caused it had been entirely different]?” 🥴🥴🥴
your question makes you sound genuinely stupid, genuinely cruel, or genuinely both.
English

@hayfarani So, what would have made the loss of it any different if it were due to an earthquake, structural collapse or any other factor outside of your control? Outside of Israel not being involved. Everyone who has a second home assumes a risk of loss or damage.
English

@RubisRevenged @Ryan30809 @DanielM49452560 @maggiemoda "you called me stupid therefor everything i invented is true" 🥴🥴🥴
English

@nihilitatis_rex @Ryan30809 @DanielM49452560 @maggiemoda By calling my position dumb, you are necessarily taking the position decribed by the “words i put in your mouth.”
English

I watched this last night.
Most sympathetic character was Justin Fuller, whose wife and home in Baton Rouge make him appear more normal than others.
Most level headed was Sneako, who understands the moment has shifted.
Absolute WORST was HSTikkyTokky who appears completely morally bankrupt.
Most insecure was Myron Gaines.
