My family is donating another $400,000 to the Zig Software Foundation. Zig is exceptional software. I use AI every day. Zig has one of the strongest anti-AI policies in open source. We disagree on some things, but respect doesn’t require agreement. mitchellh.com/writing/zig-do…

It’s a flat-out lie that the U.S. is the only nation sympathetic to Israel. If this is political rhetoric, it is unprofessional and unbecoming for a man who wants to be President one day. Israel is a force for good in the world, and are constantly beset upon by some of the world’s most evil Islamic cultists with their hearts set on destroying the West.

Vance: "What I will say... And this does bother me... Is that you have seen people within Bibi's cabinet have attacked the deal and personally attacked the President of the United States. My message to them would be twofold - Number one: Donald J. Trump is the ONLY head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time. And he happens to be the head of state of the world superpower. If I was in the cabinet of the Israeli government, I might not be attacking the only powerful ally that I have anywhere left in the entire world. And to some of these cabinet members in Israel who are attacking the President of the United States, the other thing I would say is that over the last three months, two-thirds of the defensive weapons that have protected YOUR homeland have been built by American hands and paid for by American tax dollars. The problem for Israel is NOT Donald J. Trump. And anybody in Israel who thinks their biggest problem is the President of the United States needs to wake up and smell the reality of the situation that country is in."

@tannerlinsley @kapa_ai @algolia Beautiful overall! There's a bug / UI-oversight. Hover over "Libraries" navlink in top menu, press up and down on your mouse. It's a button that opens and closes the popover, but is useless. It was meant as a hover trigger, (expandable menu) but is a button instead.

Over the last week on TanStack.com, we increased performance/responsiveness, debugged a bunch of edge cases, updated top-level, library-level and docs navigation, added AI-powered answers via @kapa_ai, improved and simplified search via @algolia, removed unnecessary cruft/chrome/layout and a ton of other little moments of polish/buff. As a means of proving and testing TanStack as a viable and reliable agent-first framework, all of this was done by simply prompting Codex to make the desired changes and iterating only on what was visible in the preview, trying my hardest not to use any technical knowledge and trusting the process. I'd say it went amazing about 95% of the time! I *did* cave a few times and abuse my institutional know-how 😉 but I also used those moments as an opportunity to improve the skills and context we feed to agents to be even better. All of this to say... we're gearing up for a very exciting TanStack-wide change very soon that's been in the works for months. I am so excited, I it's going to take things to the next level in a way no one expects! Hope you enjoy the upgrades and changes. Stay tuned.

@patcondell The report reveals rape and torture of white minors on an industrial scale. Many orders of magnitude worse than the Epstein case. Yet, it's ignored by the establishment. The contrast is deafening.

@KonstantinKisin The ban has merits, and is necessary, when done by parents – not by the government. Social Media and internet companies should work to enable real parental controls into their products.

The ban on social media for children under 16 is an idea that has merits. But the way it is being done is simply a way to force everyone, including adults, to identify themselves online, creating the most powerful surveillance and censorship architecture in human history.

Want to save the West? Start by telling your children the truth. A society that teaches its children to hate their inheritance shouldn't be surprised when they fail to preserve it. Teach your children gratitude. Teach them why freedom matters. Teach them what made the West successful. Because if you don't tell them the truth about their civilisation, someone else will tell them a lie.

Just left the @mcrjewishmuseum. I was the only visitor. A lovely volunteer gave me a private tour, and halfway through I turned to her and said: “This is all happening again. The same tactics. The same words. The exact same hatred.” And it is. We forget how recent it all was. Yet today Jews still integrate, build businesses, enrich this country - M&S, the raincoat, Slazenger… the list goes on. They have every right to be here. I’m not Jewish. None of my family are. But I will NOT stay silent while Jew hatred explodes in the UK. To the Islamists (not Muslims but extremists) and the middle-class white lefties cheering Hamas: you can simply do one. I’ve spoken to @antisemitism, Jewish students, and so many others in and around London. This vile poison must not win. Antisemitism is NOT British 🇬🇧. It goes against everything we stand for. ‼️Non-Jews: stop whispering support to your Jewish friends or local businesses. Be loud. Post it. Say it in your groups. Stop treating Jew hatred as some taboo because of the Middle East. Antisemitism existed for centuries before any of this. Antizionism isn’t “just criticism” - when they chant “put the Zios in the ground” and polls show 70-85% of British Jews identify as Zionist, who do you think that means? “End the Zionist occupation of the British government” - swap “Zionist” for “Jewish”. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? If it was Black people facing this - places of worship attacked, ambulances set on fire, students hounded - we’d never hear the end of it. But Jews? Too many stay quiet. Look at Iran. Persecution never stops at the Jews. Next it’s Christians, churches, gay people, women. History is screaming at us. The “antizionist Jewish” voices in London? When the next mob comes, they won’t ask if you’re Zionist. You’re Jewish. That’s enough. Hitler didn’t check political views either. I’m a Zionist. I believe the Jewish people have the right to a homeland. Being Zionist doesn’t mean I defend every action of the Israeli government - it’s complicated. But the deliberate “genocide” language is weaponised for a reason. And so, I’ll keep speaking up. Loudly. Working with groups fighting this. If it was this level of hate against Black people, Hindus, anyone - I’d do the same. I’ve always stood up to bullies. Non-Jews especially - Do Not let this become normal. #StandWithJews #NoToAntisemitism #ManchesterJewishMuseum #BritishValues @StopTheHate_UK

“Loving our country is starting to sound like an abused spouse saying they love their abuser.” That was Robert De Niro’s message as he took aim at President Trump during a First Amendment fundraising event in New York City on Sunday, arguing that America is “not so lovable right now.” The Oscar-winning actor went on to say he cannot love a country led by Trump, escalating his long-running criticism of the president.

My name is Gabe Einhorn. I’m a 24 year old founder, building VryfID, which verifies renters identity and income, then matches them with apartments they can actually afford. For landlords, this helps them fill units faster, increase occupancy, and raise NOI. I posted last week about an antisemitic incident, and since then it has blown up everywhere. Social media is flooded with people who hate Jews, and their only goal is to try to destroy us, as you see below. This guy just wants to destroy my business, and take down any Jewish person. Thank God, there are many good people out there who have been supporting me, and who are standing up to hate. If you are seeing this and want to be involved with what we are building, both with VryfID, as well as our fight against hate, please reach out.

Teuer. Sehr teuer. Leider.

It Was Supposed to Be History I'm a Polish filmmaker living in London. I wasn't raised to care about antisemitism. Quite the opposite. Like many Poles of my generation, I grew up with a version of history that focused heavily on Polish suffering during the Second World War. I visited Auschwitz as a teenager, yet somehow left without truly understanding the scale of what had happened to Europe's Jews. That changed when I was 19 and worked on Schindler's List. For the first time, I was confronted with parts of history that had been missing from my education. Later, living in Paris and spending time in New York, I met Jewish people whose understanding of Poland, Europe and history was very different from my own. Some conversations were uncomfortable. A few were life-changing. The more I learned, the more I realised that antisemitism didn't disappear after the Holocaust. It adapted. Today it often arrives dressed as political activism, conspiracy theories, selective outrage, historical revisionism, or simply a double standard applied to the world's only Jewish state. I am not Jewish. I have no family connection to Israel. What I do have is a deep distrust of propaganda, mob thinking, and people who demand that history be simplified into slogans. My work on antisemitism began with a simple realisation: if I could be misled about history, so could millions of others. That is why I make films, conduct interviews, and challenge narratives. Not because I have all the answers. Because I spent too many years believing things that weren't true.

@felixkrrr @christianreber I wouldn't just "add it to the list". I'd start with that in the list. Everything else follows. We need massive amounts of *independent*, cheap, and abundant energy to build everything else. Follow China's lead: massive solar buildouts in the south and nuclear in the north.

Europe needs insanely ambitious builders and investors. Right now we have neither at the scale this moment demands. It's incredibly easy to blame politicians for everything. But Europe has another huge issue: we lack agency. We need a far higher density of ambitious builders — people who start the hard companies instead of waiting for permission. Every industry that compounds — AI, cloud, chips, robots, space — is being built by the US and China. AI. No European lab competes with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. Mistral is the only contender, and an order of magnitude too small. This is the platform layer everything else will run on, and we're not in the room. Cloud. AWS, Azure, Google — almost 0% European. Our entire digital economy runs on rented American servers. That's not a market we lost. It's leverage we handed away. Chips. We don't design them (Nvidia, Apple), we don't manufacture them (TSMC). We own exactly one company — ASML — that builds the one machine the whole world needs. It could be Europe's first trillion-dollar company. Miss the rest of the chain and we lose that too. Batteries & rare earths. Up to 98% come from China. A dirty, low-margin business — but lose the supply chain and the economy stops overnight. Northvolt was our shot. It collapsed into the largest bankruptcy in Swedish history, yet we should try again and again and again. Autonomy. Waymo and Tesla in the US. Baidu, WeRide, Pony in China. Robotaxis hit European streets in 2026 — running on foreign tech. Robots. China ships 87% of the world's humanoids. The bright spot: Germany's Neura just raised $1.4B from Nvidia and Amazon. One real bet. We need fifty. Space. SpaceX launches 80+ times a year; we're rebuilding from behind. No reusable rockets, no Starlink alternative, no answer yet as compute moves to orbit. All of this is fixable. Not by subsidizing the past or regulating the future — by funding people audacious enough to BUILD. Europe doesn't have a talent problem. It has a courage-and-capital problem. Build. Build. Build.

I'm sorry but modern Western legal systems are not designed to handle: Beheadings. Machete attacks. Honour killing. Grooming gangs. FGM. Child marriage. Co-ordinated groups of 'lone wolf' bombers. Or any other kind of desert-era religious terror. We need new laws for this - laws that exempt civilised modern people. Barbaric laws for barbaric acts. And zero exemptions for 'culture' or 'mental illness'. We deserve to be safe and free in the nations our ancestors built. Otherwise what was the point of 5,000 years of civilised reforms?
