I would like to acknowledge my appreciation for the @scotgov #AccessToElectedOfficeFund managed by @InclusionScot , without this fund I would have found it very difficult to stand as a candidate. Being a @guidedogs @guidedogsscot owner , going out leafleting , travelling around the region ,I am faced with many barriers , and health and safety is crucial I am now able to go out with my PA and have their support when I need it and for the campaign tasks we all encounter . #AccessibilityForAll #BreakingBarriers

@ScotRail on last nights 9.18 pm East Kilbride train , your station announcement was out of sync , it announced Clarkston, I got off with my @guidedogs @guidedogsscot , to realise it was the stop before , Giffnock , this left me in the dark waiting for the next train , this caused a lot of stress and anxiety , Visually impaired / blind people rely on audio. Description on transport when available . @SightScotland

A tax takes money that already exists and moves it to government spending. What we really need is a circular economic framework, built on transparent and distributed decision-making, can help build resilient communities. Instead of collecting money and redistributing it through budgets, a parallel public financial architecture: a standing pool of capital communities can access to fund resilience projects such as greenhouses to stabilize food prices, wellness and hobby hubs to support mental health, small plants converting waste into construction materials, and other infrastructure communities genuinely need. This isn’t debt and there are no interest traps. Funding helps projects reach the operational stage. After that, businesses run normally, paying salaries, covering costs, and selling through regular market channels. If a surplus remains, it returns to the pool to fund the next project. Over time, capital circulates through communities instead of concentrating at the top. Employment options expand, local infrastructure improves, and the middle class grows stronger.

A year ago I attended the launch of the ScotRail free rail travel for companions travelling with a visual impairment pilot scheme , today in @ScotParl we heard the announcement from @FionaHyslop that @scotgov have made it permanent, fantastic achievement ftom all @SightScotland campaigners
