@goatonabicycle Or maybe an invitation to consciously drop the energy of your mind into your heart and body for processing as feelings and sensations of how your environment is ‘talking’ to you?

@Maaikees I too have lost faith in testing as a role. My questions or feedback are considered not testing because I am not designing or executing test cases. Is the organization scared of reality & complexity? Avoiding them by using a ‘mask’ that seems responsible & stops awkward insights

We’re keen on creating a new version of the spinemodel.info site - lots has been learned since it was created and the UX is poor. Anyone keen to collab/contribute to the effort?

“The art is how the facilitator learns to dance in the moment—seeing what’s happening in a group, hearing what’s behind the way the group talks with one another, listening for what’s not being said, and letting the magic of the group’s collective intelligence organically emerge.”
Kirsten Clacey@KirstenClacey

“A facilitator is an individual who uses self-awareness, self-management, group awareness, and group process to enable teams to access their collective intelligence in order to achieve their desired outcomes.” 💜love this!💜 @marshaacker thriveglobal.com/stories/facili…

Was just reminded of this experience while listening to a powerful podcast on #devops www-eficode-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.eficod… that dealt with psychological safety, well being in IT and taking care of your brain. Thank you @Eficode

@riaan_dp @RootsOfWork In my experience it constrains the learning and needed conversations by creating fear of rejection, limited or panic thinking and unwillingness to be open. It breaks down psychological safety and fosters distrust.

Stress causes focused attention on a very small part of the work. It causes people to loose sight of the whole and encourages local optimizations that hurt the bigger system. Work systems that generate stress is not only destructive to people, but also to itself.
