I don’t know about anyone else but I can’t believe what I’m seeing & hearing with this country anymore. It just feels that I went to bed one night & woke up the next night in a completely different country. Absolutely nothing is like it used to be & it just feels that they are just pushing & pushing on purpose until we hopefully snap & they can bring in restrictions to our lives. The people that are doing this to us are just pure evil.

Why did our ruling class not invest in decarbonising faster to avoid this acceleration in deadly heatwaves that scientists warned would come? Because of the capitalist law of value. Capital invests in what is most profitable to capital, rather than what is most necessary for humanity, so our ruling class keeps ploughing investment into fossil fuels and SUVs, while we get far too little in renewables and public transit, even while the world burns around us. We have more than enough capacity (labour, factories, technology) to address the climate crisis, but as long as capital controls investment and production we are prevented from doing it. We are trapped by the capitalist law of value, living in a miserable shadow of the world we could have.

In Belgium, Muslims are 5% of the population but consumer over half of the welfare budget. This is what infuriates citizens like me. Why the fuck should we foot the bill for foreigners to come into our country and milk the system? They come, we pay them welfare, and then they try to change our political and economic systems. This isn't just a Europe thing, this is massively prevalent in the US.
