TIL your Chrome Extensions are included in the DevTools Lighthouse score. Disabling ones I didn't use brought page performance from 98 to 100.

Should go with OCaml or OLlama? Personally, I think llamas are cuter.

Why is Zoom the only meeting app that allows you to go full screen with the shared screen? Everyone else keeps it small and I can’t blow it up to see better.

@zeu_dev you have to keep doing it every day, then you see the gains. It’s like working out.

This is the last time, for some time, that I’ll find myself working from the back of the 83 bus, headed into central Wellington. I’ve built several products from the back of this bus, raised over $1.5m in venture capital, drawn tens of thousands of rectangles and, perhaps most importantly, found my community and people online. There’s a lot of change going on in my life right now. I’ve said goodbye to my beautiful partner after an incredible 4 years together. I’ve said goodbye to the family I’ve lived with for the last 2, whom I’ve come to know as my own. I’m leaving the house I’ve come to call home—one in which I’d come to understand what it meant to have a home, in ways that I’d never understood or experienced before. I’ve learnt, perhaps for the first time in my life, how it feels to be loved and supported, without trauma, unconditionally. For that, I will forever be grateful—it has allowed me to heal in immeasurable ways. The future is uncertain, but I’m grateful to have evolved in such a way that I am excited and optimistic by it, despite a lack of clarity or structure—my chaotic ADHD traits, while unruly anchors at times, have made me a capable sailor of navigating and traversing stormy seas. No matter what tempests I may encounter on my journey forward, I am faithful that I’ll find a way to overcome them, and grow all the more for having faced them. After 10 years of living in New Zealand, I have a one-way ticket booked for Europe at the start of June, and besides plans to see friends and family, no real agenda or course. The next 33 days will be spent living in my office—sleeping on the floor, working at my desk and toiling to make something that I can look back and be proud of during this time. Thank you to everyone who has tuned in and been a part of my journey so far. Without you, I may not have set out. My gratitude for the support, teachings and encouragement I’ve received wouldn’t be possible to capture in words. Amongst this chaos and uncertainty, there is one constant, one that has helped shape my life for the last 6 years; one that allowed me to strive further than I’d ever been able to as a dishwasher when I arrived in this country, and to dream bigger than I’d ever thought possible as someone who had no technical skills, nor a degree We’ll do it live 🫡 #buildinpublic
