Mahindra official statement on E20 fuel compliance

The storage bunks and the distribution system needs a total revamp to handle E20 fuel to avoid ingress of moisture. Same for the Fuel dispensing station. As the rains gain strength and it starts pouring, moisture ingress will increase creating chaos. This our mantri ji and his हांजी हांजी फौज needs to understand this before implementing this project. Had they studied and discussed the pros and cons with petrochemical engineers and experts, they would have had solutions. The E20 in Petrol dies not cause so much damage than what moisture mixed E20Petrol causes. Moisture plus Ethanol-20 plus Gasoline, is deadliest combo creating havoc with all metal parts by rusting & corrosion, complete combustion does not happen hence it leaves Nox fumes along with Acetaldehyde, both are toxic. How are they going to control. BTW pollution does not bother them or no action is taken against polluting petrochemical refineries, Sugar mills and Distilleries hence these mantri ji dont know what pollution is. It is us the common citizens who to bear the ills of their lunatic decisions, which are governed by their interest in private business.

Not everyone has crores of rupees like ministers to buy a new E20-compatible vehicle tomorrow. We are ordinary people. We cannot afford to replace our vehicles whenever the government changes the fuel policy. People are asking for just one simple thing. For people who do not have an E20-compatible vehicle, there should be an option to buy pure petrol. But instead of answering this straightforward question, they are trying to portray them as anti-national and foreign-funded. Just give people a choice. Petrol pumps should offer both regular petrol and E20 petrol, with separate prices for each. It is as simple as that.
