@Jchammond_ Xcode works but it's just one agent, one conversation at a time. Feels like Cursor 0.7. You're better with Cursor Agentic flow + FlowDeck extension!

Throwback to my music charity fundraiser collab feat @jamiebower Nice chap. He was off to shoot some show about Strange Things, bless him. Wonder what lovely, wholesome thing he’s up to now…

Imagine being stranded at the top of a skyscraper without lifts, internet, mobile signal, toilets or water, then walking down 20+ flights of stairs into floor after floor of complete darkness. 👍

@altantutar To solve a problem effectively, you actually have to experience it. Founders that start with a post like this, launch, and rely too heavily on customer feedback often end up building a “faster horse” instead of a car. The best products are built by the people who need them.

There is definitely another side to pursuing startup ideas that investors shill in their content. I've been in the startup space for almost 4 years and have consumed many stories about how successful companies start. It's usually the founder's unique insight or early entry into a small market that makes the difference. I wouldn't pursue a startup idea just because a16z makes content out of it. There's a lot of danger in that, especially if you're following what the hivemind is chasing, which leads to competing with 100+ startups in the same category. Your chances of winning drop significantly, as anything on such a list, without a unique insight, often leads to catastrophe for the founders.

@donaldjewkes “Trust me I’m a professional.” This isn’t even close to the sketchiest camera setup I’ve used 😂

@hobson_kigzo It might for lazy, formulaic, human-created slop. It can’t replace a real editors ability to guide the way a viewer experiences a film. It’ll **absolutely** be a tool to make creativity easier for people who actually care about filmmaking regardless of skill level.

@DinokiLabs This is really cool. Also building something macOS and native first for similar reasons 🙂

@vanilagy @Vjeux It’s more verbose, but the time handling is nice and prevents drift. You can select ranges, frames etc. Lower level access is there when you need it etc. Mac/iOS only though, and nowhere near as clean as your API. (Quick range example, wrote it on a phone so excuse mistakes 😬)

@cjlryan @Vjeux How does AVFoundation handle this sort of thing natively? Never worked with it.

A lil sneak peak at the upcoming SampleCursor API in Mediabunny v2! It's quite the beast. It offers a single, unified API for decoding video and audio data, optimized for real-world use cases: creating video players and editors, thumbnail extraction, etc.

@vanilagy @Vjeux I kind of like the way AVFoundation handles this sort of thing natively, but this is **so** clean. Wish the web could handle intensive production workflows better (hardware accelerated RAW decode, ML etc)... 😬 One day… (and probably thanks to you!)

Thanks! I noticed from watching usage of Mediabunny that there's a desperate need for a "cursor-like" API where you can just seek to a specific time, like a
