The AI scene in London is crazy. The number of high quality AI companies building across the city is phenomenal: > @meetgranola from @samstphenson and @cjpedregal > @meetcleo from @Barney_H_Y > @synthesiaIO from @vriparbelli and @Stjerrild > @fyxerofficial from @rich_fyxer_ai And SO MANY MORE. The map also highlights one of the big issues in London - that startups are so spread out. Without density you lack serendipity and that's definitely an issue in London. Overall though the city is THRIVING. Great map from John Tan - let him know if there's any missing.

@altantutar most local model arguments can be resolved by asking how much tokens you could buy with the money youd sink into hardware

claude code is a better salesman than most of you. been talking to it to decide if I buy 64gb or 48gb RAM based on all my activity for my new Mac. the response I get: “take the 14" 48GB Nano-texture at White City today and put the £950 difference into Claude API credits, you'll get more useful intelligence out of that than out of the extra 16GB.” ☠️ ☠️ ☠️

i'm seeing crazy asymmetric opportunity in AI video right now: brands are used to paying $50k+ for a single production so a solo creator with ai tools can: 1. easily charge $5-10k+ 2. make the same thing in 2 days for almost nothing 3. and most brands can't tell the difference wrote up the full playbook on how to actually do this: > which models to learn (and when to use each one) > the best workflow that lets you use all of them from one workspace > how to build a portfolio fast and start signing clients at $2-10k+ the demand is way ahead of the supply of people who know these tools. that's your window. get cooking!

Silly Business Theory is right: in the future the best work, greatest progress, most valuable innovations won't come from laboring under the false consciousness that work must be hard and serious to produce value. The best work is going to come from people playing and having fun.

The more I look at this the more impressed I am and the more I realize how grateful we should be to Tao. 1. He acknowledges ignorance: this is something academics almost never do since their cultural capital is tied up in them knowing things. But he can since, well, he's Terence Tao. 2. He is explicitly acknowledging his use of GenAI to fight the stigma of using AI. If the child prodigy turned UCLA prof who studied with Erdos uses AI, it is legitimate technology. (please start using this sentence with AI skeptics btw) 3. He is also showing how AI is best used: as a kind of syntactic tool that finds connections in possibility space and has access to a larger library of information than our brains can. There's more here but the cool internet thing is a list of three. I often lament Tao has too playful of a mode of operating, feeling like he plays with linear algebra when he should be doing foundations of mathematics. But not only does this moment prove my view wrong, it also proves just how much Silly Business Theory #SBT is right: in the future the best work, the greatest progress, and the most valuable innovations won't come from people laboring under the false consciousness of Protestantism and Marxism that asserts work must be hard and serious to produce value. The best work is going to come from people playing and having fun. We're on the cusp of a near utopian explosion in human potential and quality of life. And you're bearish?!?!?!?!??????!?

It's a really good guide! Thanks for preparing all of this. I have a couple of questions: a) What's the percentage of success on the outbounds. I receive a lot of emails, and certainly don't open almost 99% of them. Is there an alternative to the outbound channel that could be more effective? b) Can you apply this to B2C? Have you thought about any modifications that could lead to growth there too?

big personal news: first off, Ethereum is dead second, i am now Special Situations at @SolanaFndn. my mandate is mega deals that will drive max value why solana? > the most engaged userbase in crypto with the highest take rate per volume (more than hype coinbase binance) > foundation is very lean and full of killers > other chains dont need me. ethereum is fucked (stuck in communism) and hype’s perp game is mature. solana is perfect for me to have fun and get shit done what will i do at solana: > bring 10B TVL to solana i’ve brokered 1-2B before and wanna up my game. if you are a large TVL provider, we have super scalable fixed yield products at 7-8% in a tradfi setup dm me > help grow RWA perps on solana hype done a great job with oil, gold, nasdaq perps and we will take it further if you are a serious crypto/tradfi market maker in rwa, we have the distribution and open to deals dm me what motivates me personally: first off, I am doing this for glory. I want to come in and be instrumental in growing trading activity and onchain tvl. second, I want to be relevant again. I miss pissing people off while being unavoidable. its fun thirdly, learn how to acquire trading distribution. almost no one in crypto knows how to do but thats where billion usd opportunities lie and they belong on solana.

@altantutar @NEARProtocol ironclaw enclaves strictly pull the heaviest @nearprotocol traffic today. wild to frame this alongside core infra like l1 clients, rust sdks, and intent routers.

nearai/ironclaw is clearly the most starred @nearprotocol project ever. it's nice to put into perspective compared to all the other well-known near repositories like near/nearcore, near/near-sdk-rs, and near/intents.

anthropic team is literally in "founder mode." they shipped literally 9 features over the last 7 days. the real story here isn't that Claude can now use a computer with a message from your phone, it's that anthropic is commoditising all the tasks that we tell someone working in business operations in one or a couple of different messages. whoever controls the 'default computer agent' slot by end of 2025 controls how every knowledge worker spends their day, and it seems like claude is the closest to getting there.
Claude@claudeai

You can now enable Claude to use your computer to complete tasks. It opens your apps, navigates your browser, fills in spreadsheets—anything you'd do sitting at your desk. Research preview in Claude Cowork and Claude Code, macOS only.

Every executive will be running an OpenClaw-like agent within the next 12 months. > Facebook: Zuck is already claiming that he is building in-house. > NVIDIA: Jensen Huang at GTC said every company needs an OpenClaw strategy. They shipped NemoClaw, an enterprise security layer, on top of it, and perhaps dogfooding it themselves. > OpenAI: They acquired Peter Steinberger, the founder of OpenClaw, who was able to hit 250K+ GitHub stars in less 60 days, faster than Linux, React, or any open-source project in history. > Anthropic: They shipped Cowork Dispatch while OpenAI was getting busy acquiring Peter. > Coinbase: Brian Armstrong publicly said they have been experimenting with AI agents that Brian can take advise from. The reality is that in Fortune 500 companies, maybe 1% of the information determines whether a decision is right or wrong. The other 99% gets filtered through the corporate hierarchy. The agents will replace this filter. A CEO agent will have the context of the entire organisation's actions, and it will surface three things that actually matter for the executive. This means the destruction / reduction of the entire information & operations structure within organizations, in roles like chief of staff, executive assistant, strategy, and planning. The question, then, is that every board should be asking if the CEO isn't running one of these by the year end, what are they making decision on.

jensen huang just explained why the ai economy hasn't even started yet: "people pay for information. but people mostly pay for work." everything so far (chatbots, deep research answers), that's the small markets. ai agents doing real work, that's perhaps the real ai economy.
