We also returned over $20K in lost money, also known as unclaimed funds, to local organizations. There is $507M owed to people, businesses and organizations in the Bronx. Check and see if you are owed $: ouf.osc.ny.gov.

@RandiHarbaugh @UnclaimedOhio Sorry for the problems. Ohio doesn’t pay claims on “name match” alone. By law they have to see “sufficient proof” you’re the right owner, which often means proof you lived at the reported address or did business with the hldr. Records are messy; this prevents mispayment.

I found $5.10 in @UnclaimedOhio -I’ve sent proof of myself - ss#, DL, address, etc. they send a letter saying I have to prove I ever did business with that co. - WHY??? if the co. sent Ohio the money saying its owed to me & I proved I’m me - why do I have to do anything else ??😡

Google “unclaimed property [your state]” Find your states site. Search for you and your extended families names. I just found >$15k of unclaimed cash for all my extended family, including $75 for myself. Great IRR on this one…
