At some point, paying absurd prices for a bottle of consumable liquid becomes its own joke, and, dare I say, morally indefensible.
The law of diminishing returns applies quickly to anything brewed, distilled, or vinified, and the conspicuous consumabros supporting this nonsense deserved to be mocked mercilessly.

Truth be told my Chinese is getting fairly good. I'm not conversational yet, but I know and understand quite a lot. Really just need more vocabulary. It's helped me a lot in the real estate business and I enjoy messing with my Chinese passengers sometimes.

@StripStumble Even if your suite has a kitchenette, most resorts have a rule that you can't bring outside food into the resort. It's not enforced unless you're obvious about it (like these guys).

If you are doing a supply run - bring a canvas shopping bag with you. Carrying around bottled water and beer in those cheap plastic bags is a pain.
