I don't understand this WSOP policy at all. DON'T PROMOTE OUR EVENT! In all honesty, my first thought after reading this is to take photos of urinals and toilets all summer and post those instead. Bonus points if there's a dookie in the toilet. #DookiesOfWSOP

We “ate” a huge amount of $$ last year. This year we are still eating some cost to not charge 3%. I don’t see how it’s an absolute that attendance increases in such a drastic manner with 0% CC fees vs 2% CC fee to account for paying for 100% of CC fees. But with that said, still want to help the players!

@combatoverride @DefiantLs They are in fact breaking "noise codes". The local complaints to the city are ignored by the Muslim majority city officials who don't allow church bells to play. This is common knowledge.

Sure. Re the first bit, it's a bit of a chicken & egg situation. Do the financial struggles make for bad habits elsewhere or do the bad habits elsewhere make for the financial struggles? Re the 2nd bit, do you think if you flip-flopped the people the tidiness would follow suit?

People that struggle with financials tend to neglect also other parts of life, even relationships and own health. Those people in those neighbours are much more likely to belong in that category. Also nobody want to be the waird one, if all the nighborhood is tidy and well kept you are more motivated to do the same, if everything around looks like shit, you don't mind as much if your yard is not upkept.

.I think what this means more than anything is that it's a behavioral thing. There's nothing wrong with living in an inexpensive home, but that's no reason to not take any pride in it. I don't understand.

.In general, they often just present much worse. Now some of this can be attributed to money I suppose, and to HOA's to some degree as well, but only a little bit is because of that. It doesn't cost anything to pick up trash and pull weeds or to donate a dilapidated car.

So I've been observing something, and I want to talk about it...when you're in a middle to upper class neighborhood in Las Vegas I notice that the homes are, for the most part, very presentable. Not just larger, newer, and nicer homes. But the way they're presented is very nice.
