The worst part about chapter five is the festival. Hyped it up for 8 YEARS like it was going to be this super big event. Just to have it be quick light-world filler and forced yurislop. Then rudy breaks his neck and then we drive head first into the dark-world just like that.

@clonvick As soon as he was introduced I thought "oh Toby wants us to really fucking hate this guy so when he turns out to be genuinely evil/gets torn to shreds by the real antagonist of the chapter it feels really cathartic." Unfortunately, I was wrong.

The only "character development" in this chapter was Asgore just speedrunning his entire arc in a cutscene then immediately getting kidnapped by the knight. Everything else was just repeating/reinforcing things already covered in previous chapters. Like what was even the point?
