It's an insidious evil aimed at our children to affect a culture of grievance and theft, rather than a culture of gratitude and virtue.

@mnguncaucus If you have to pass a background check to purchase a firearm, what can the permit to purchase add other than make it a judgment call.

Because the Chief of Police in your community will decide whether or not you will get a "permit to purchase" which allows you to purchase handguns and certain long guns in Minnesota. They will have some discretion in the process.
