There are so many cool workshops and labs to do in this new Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum 😀 I had a lot of fun going through the original Lightbox Viewer lab as well as building my own version as you can see in the video below ⬇️. #freeCodeCamp #WebDevelopment

freeCodeCamp's New Responsive Web Design Certification is now live. 🏕️ You can now take the final exam and earn this FREE verified cert, then add it to your LinkedIn, CV, or personal website. 🎉 This is the first of 6 certifications that make up freeCodeCamp's Certified Full Stack Developer path. This is version 10 of our core curriculum, the result of thousands of hours of work by teachers, developers, and open source contributors. This is our most comprehensive and rigorous programming curriculum yet. It will teach you the fundamental skills you need to not only build your own websites, mobile apps, and APIs, but to also to leverage AI codegen tools with confidence. We'll steadily release the remaining cert exams over the coming weeks so that you'll be able to earn these other certs, too: - JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures - Python Programming - Front End Libraries - Relational Databases - Back End Development Each of these certs involves hundreds of hours of building guided projects, unguided projects (just a blank editor with test suites), theory, and quizzes to check your comprehension and prepare you for the exam. If you've previously worked through some of freeCodeCamp's coursework – even several years ago – you may have already completed several of the required projects to earn this first cert. You can read @codergirl1991's full announcement of this new certification. Reply to this tweet with any questions you have that aren't covered in the FAQ section. All of this is made possible by the 10,331 kind folks who donate each month to support our mission. Consider joining them and donating.

@ossia I earned the Responsive Web Design Certification some few years back. Does this new curriculum make it obsolete?

@moaikun9 @ossia The capstone project is only required if you complete all six certifications listed earlier and want to claim the full stack certification.

@ossia Will the capstone project be required, or just the exam? The capstone project is not currently listed on the page.

Hey devs, I'm recording a new season of the freeCodeCamp podcast, and I'm looking for guests to interview. 🏕️ I don't mind interviewing celebrity devs but I LOVE interviewing folks who've never been on a podcast before. Looking for chill people who are serious about their skills, their career, and being part of the global developer community long-term. Ideal guests: - Have been working as a dev for at least a year - Primarily an IC (not a PM / Dev Advocate / Founder) - CS degree is OK but less traditional background even better - Not just SF / NYC folks - Not just big tech folks - Age doesn't matter - Open source street cred a plus - fCC certs a plus - Listener of the show a plus DM me.

If you're working hard to get into tech, consider listening to the latest episode of The Programming Podcast on YouTube or your favorite podcast player. @leonnoel and @DThompsonDev talk with me about the job market and practical tips for making it work for you.
