@axdaem @Dorch_Janine @FIFAcom You should be more clear in your comment. You clearly meant AGAINST an african/asian team rather than TO an african/asian team.

Japan’s second goal in their 2-1 win over Spain was checked by VAR to determine if the ball had gone out of play. The video match officials used the goal line camera images to check if the ball was still partially on the line or not.

@nftgamerx @FIFAcom Why are you assuming the ball must have been in by at least 1 centimeter? It's clear the ball was either on or over the goal line and any pass had to be backward into the field of play and therefore NOT offside.

@FIFAcom In this case it is offside for player number 25 who touches the ball. If we accept that the ball is inside by 1 centimeter, the player who is on the ground has at least 1 centimeter offside, that player brushes the ball and is in the line of vision of the goalkeeper and defenses.

@cmgonzar @FIFAcom Any part of his body over the goal line could not affect an offside decision as it would be out of the field of play and if the ball was deemed to be passed back from the goal line then he couldn't be offside anyway.

@FIFAcom Ball seems to hit on No.25 which should be offside if the ball is not completely out (there’s a portion of his body) ahead of the ball

@FIFAcom The goal or non-goal made no difference to Germany who would be out anyway. A draw between Japan and Spain would simply mean that Spain and Japan's positions would be reversed (5 points each - goal difference).

Another far-right figure has aligned himself with Kanye's entourage. Milo posted a picture tonight of ex-comic Owen Benjamin—a vocal anti-Semite last in the news after failing to establish a bear-themed compound called "Beartaria" for his fans—wearing a YE24 coat.

@RonHMoir @milesstarforth If managers only knew in advance when players were going to get injured I'm sure they'd take them off before then.

@milesstarforth It was daft sending on Bruno, for 5 minutes, after what had happened. Is that when he got his knock? #nufc

Eddie Howe said he 'didn't know' what was happening with Martin Dubravka, a transfer target for Man United, as he'd been preparing for the game. Dubravka wasn't in today's squad. #nufc #mufc

Spoke to people last night about this with @JPercyTelegraph and it’s 100% true from #nufc end. Naturally they would rather it hadn’t come out in public but let’s see what happens next. Player thought to be keen on move

Excl: Newcastle have made a £40m bid for #lcfc attacking midfielder James Maddison. Offer was submitted yesterday and turned down. Newcastle considering an improved offer #nufc telegraph.co.uk/football/2022/…

@LukeEdwardsTele @JPercyTelegraph I would take him in a heartbeat . And then buy Paqueta as well . Maybe the next window for Paqueta but we shouldn’t be choosing 1 or the other. We need both …..and a striker .

@sandell84 @LukeEdwardsTele @JPercyTelegraph Maybe Eddie wants a player who is proven in the Premiership in this position rather than taking a gamble on the likes of Paqueta. Ive no doubt Paqueta is quality but might take a while to settle in. Just my opinion 👍

@Jesanchez3 You didn't beat Tottenham and if Newcastle had beaten 'your' team last week the tomorrow's result against City would be irrelevant anyway.
