if we need diagnosis so we can get treatment, well... "showing autistic people how other autistic people lead successful and happy and sometimes even *unimpaired* lives" sure seems like it might actually help people

there are reasonable arguments for why one might not want to give autism diagnoses to people who aren't "impaired" by it but imo either A) "autism" doesn't warrant diagnosis at all (as opposed to e.g. "sensory sensitivity") B) diagnosis shouldn't be limited to the "impaired" 1/

@MarkovMagnifico For me it’s about finding the right balance between using rational/emotional and planning/spontaneity. So e.g. putting a lot of things in cal as options but then deciding in the moment what to do. Commitments only when it really “feels” right. Not overrationalizing too much.

how do you decide what you’re going to do with your time? like what do you think about and do? I’m curious both on short and longer time scales. I am just trying to understand how other ppl approach this and how y’all think
