Really a lot less emotionally invested in the grizzlies after the trade deadline and Kleiman press conference. If you’re taking the approach of cutting losses and building the team for down the road, I’ll also save my energy. Shame that everyone was just cool with that though.

Well thats just not what i said. But since you want to go there, and in no way are the same player, but Kendric Davis had multiple great games against Memphis in an SMU uniform. Never won anything there, even lost to Memphis in the 2022 Conference Tournament. Guess where he went next year and won his first though ? Players come to Memphis to have a better chance at winning, it’s usually almost never (in the Penny Era) that they were winners before they came.

MY TAKE: The guy Penny should go after the most. Haggerty would be nice, but Brumbaugh is a fresh face I’d like to see on the Tigers’ roster next season. Four 30+ point games this past season including two against Memphis, decent volume shooter and an active guard on the glass He would thrive in Penny’s system.
