Wendy’s CEO was ready to drop $20 million on new digital menu boards. The goal? To change the price of your burger in real-time. If the drive-thru got busy, your lunch suddenly cost more. They called it "dynamic pricing." We called it what it was: a $20 million investment to price-gouge the consumer. But then the internet exploded. The backlash was so fierce and so fast that Wendy's folded almost overnight. They tried to play us, and we shut it down. Never forget who actually holds the power. What corporate giant needs this kind of reality check next?

🚨 Peter Magyar, the new Prime Minister of Hungary: I invited the PM of Israel, Netanyahu, to the 70th anniversary celebrations of the 1956 Revolution. It seems we managed to stop Hungary's withdrawal from ICC in The Hague. Therefore, if a head of state against whom an arrest warrant has been issued (referring to Netanyahu) arrives, he will be arrested.

Amos Hochstein , senior advisor for the Biden administration, says he supported last summer’s Operation Midnight Hammer, in which the Trump administration struck Iran’s nuclear facilities, because “we had thought internally in the Biden administration we may have to take [strikes] if there was a second term.” “We did war games. We did some practice runs on what it would look like to look into it, because that may have had to happen under our watch as well," he says. ❓ Weird! Was Kamala Harris there for any of this? She said yesterday that this was only brought on by PM Netanyahu forcing President Trump’s hand. Stay connected, follow @MOSSADil.
Mossad Commentary@MOSSADil

❓ WHO WISHES KAMALA HARRIS WON INSTEAD OF PRESIDENT TRUMP? Kamala says: “He entered a war — got pulled into it by Bibi Netanyahu, let us be clear about that — entered a war that the American people do not want, putting at risk American service members.” It’s almost as though she has no concern for regime nuclear ambitions which she has also acknowledged. Glad she finally says that she cares about service members being at risk, though, so there’s that progress! Coulda fooled me.. Stay connected, follow @MOSSADil.

This reads much more like an Iranian counter offer than any deal President Trump would accept.

This is the outline currently under discussion between the United States and Iran. I am sharing this with caution, as it hasn’t been agreed upon yet, but based on recent developments, these are the points they have been discussing: A 15-year suspension of uranium enrichment. The United States originally demanded 20 years, while the Iranians wanted much less; they eventually settled on 15. The plan includes converting uranium into fuel, which changes its physical state and makes it harder to re-enrich. While not a simple process, this means the uranium won't necessarily leave Iran, which is a major concern for Israel. Full inspection of nuclear sites and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz are, of course, a given. The deal would also include ending the war, the withdrawal of American forces from the Gulf, and the lifting of economic sanctions. It must be said that, aside from the uranium, the lifting of sanctions is what worries Israel the most. As you recall, the strategic goal of the war was to create the conditions for the regime’s downfall. The regime was in danger of collapsing due to an economic situation that deteriorated primarily because of those sanctions; if they are lifted, the regime is strengthened. Therefore, it seems to me that the perception in Israel remains that the status quo is preferable—a state of "no war, no peace" where U.S. military forces remain on standby in the Persian Gulf. But as we have learned, this does not depend solely on Israel's desires, to put it mildly.

Because high earners are fleeing New York and California, both states are contemplating “exit taxes” to punish people who move out of the state. You know which country did the same thing? “Knot-see” Germany (that’s code to avoid the Thought Police). Jews who fled the Turd Reich were charged an “exit tax” of 90% of their net worth. That was the price of starting a new life in freedom someplace else. Is history repeating itself?

🚨 REPORT: TERMS OF POTENTIAL U.S.–IRAN DEAL EMERGE According to Amit Segal, discussions between the U.S. and Iran are centering on a possible framework — not yet finalized: • 15-year suspension of uranium enrichment • Conversion of uranium into fuel (remaining inside Iran) • Full inspections of nuclear sites • Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz • End of the war + U.S. withdrawal from the Gulf • Lifting of economic sanctions Key concern for Israel: Sanctions relief could stabilize and strengthen the Iranian regime — undermining the broader goal of weakening it. Bottom line: Israel may prefer the current “no war, no peace” status quo — but the outcome will ultimately be decided in Washington and Tehran. Stay connected, follow @MOSSADil

We spend about $6 billion annually to station troops in Japan to deter regional threats against it. We spend about $4 billion annually to station troops in South Korea to deter regional threats against it. We spend about $9 billion annually to station troops in Germany to deter regional threats against it. I'm sure Rahm would be okay with having 50,000 US troops stationed in Israel, "like all other allies of ours".
Eli Kowaz - איליי קואז@elikowaz

Rahm Emanuel, on Israel: "No more US military aid. You're a country like all other allies of ours, Japan, South Korea, the Brits, the Germans. You're going to pay full price. You can buy what you want, but you have to abide by the laws." This is Obama's chief of staff. He helped shape the last MOU. He signed off on Iron Dome funding. The position that US aid to Israel should end is now inside the Democratic establishment mainstream.

I was on a 4-hour flight, aisle seat, front section paid extra specifically so I could get off quickly and avoid the airport stampede. Boarding finishes, we’re settling in, and this woman taps my shoulder. She’s got a toddler on her hip and a husband hovering behind her like emotional support luggage. She asks if I can switch seats so their “little family can sit together.” I look at her seat: middle row, back of the plane. Not even a window. Just… economy suffering. I politely say no, I paid extra for this seat. She immediately shifts tone“It’s just a seat, we’re a family.” Now here’s where it gets interesting. The flight attendant comes over, and instead of backing me up, she tries the classic “let’s find a solution” approach. Suddenly I’m being asked to compromise like I’m in a corporate meeting and not a passenger who planned ahead.

Slight correction. The loans have to be repaid so the stock he has to sell in order to repay it plus the non deductible interest is subject to capital gain tax plus a 3.8% Obama Care tax with a fancy name. All in all a lower rate (23.8 vs 37) but to his company no deduction for his salary so a higher corp tax and the payroll tax that stops at low 6 figures is negligible.

This is how Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos avoids paying a personal income tax - For the last 20 years he’s had the same salary, $82,000 - He does this because a higher salary that would support his lifestyle would be subject to payroll and income tax, he doesn’t want to pay that - Instead all his money is in his stocks, those are never subject to any taxes as long as they aren’t sold - He takes out a loan and borrows against his stocks - The only money he’ll ever had to pay is the loan and interest on the loan This is common practice for billionaires so they avoid the majority or all of a personal income tax
