2024. After an Iranian backed militia kills three American soldiers at a coalition base in Jordan, Joe Kent blames the U.S. government for "baiting" Iran. Kent claimed that the U.S. government was leaving troops in areas across the Middle East, hoping they would be killed and thus providing justification for a war with Iran. I know that Kent has served our country honorably and that he also lost his wife in the Middle East. I'm not attacking his character but I will say this. If you believe that it's America's fault when terrorists kill American soldiers and that our government is intentionally trying to get our people killed, you probably should not be the Director of the Counterterrorism Center.

For people calling Joe names, I want you to take a beat and remember that his wife was killed in the Middle East. He’s entitled to feel strongly about wars in the Middle East, even if you or I disagree. His sacrifice and service as a soldier is owed that respect even if you don’t agree and it’s honorable that he’s stepping down if he knows that he can’t faithfully discharge his duties in a conflict he doesn’t support. I myself have some trepidation about a longterm war but I believe Trump’s record gives him some latitude to handle Iran in a reasonable timeframe. My final point though, is that we can’t demand blind obedience and agreement. That’s not how you build coalitions. I wish Joe nothing but the best as he’s given his best years and sacrificed his greatest love for our nation.

Trump’s major weakness has always been personnel. He never established real control over his administration and repeatedly staffed it with people who were not aligned with him, and instead used their positions to advance their own agendas. In the first term, the sabotage came from establishment Republicans. They viewed Trump as immature, undisciplined, and ideologically incoherent, and saw themselves as the adults in the room responsible for steering his agenda. In this second term, the saboteurs are these Tucker-adjacent immature podcast-bro contrarians with no governing experience who leech off the administration for influence and a future career. Trump needs to clean house of people who are not 100% on board with his agenda, not wait for them to self-deport in a big brouhaha like Kent.

The man whose sole responsibility was to prevent terror attacks on American soil failed outright, with three Islamic terror attacks in under two weeks. Facing the consequences of his incompetence and alleged leaking, he chose to stage a dramatic exit and resign before he could be held accountable and removed.

This list I developed of who James Lindsay has called “Woke Right” wasn’t made as a joke, to show how absurd it was he called this many people Woke Right. This is a list of everyone who is to be blacklisted. Note that it contains both some of the most die hard pro-Trump and most Anti-Trump right wingers on it. That consideration is irrelevant. This is who James Lindsay, and all his compatriots like him, which include Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, Max Abrahms, and everyone else of their kin, have been maneuvering to axe and execute out of the Right and out of having an effect on politics, Plan Truster and Panican alike. They have now successfully maneuvered into having Trumps ear, simply by not blowing all stock and capital with him by freaking out every time a minor thing they didn’t like was spoken, and instead constantly praising him and showing loyalty. That is as clear and obvious a mistake as it can possibly be. But, now we have many on the plan truster side of this, who have been marked for removal, marked as the enemy, who are now trying to support Mark Levin and others, because they’ve decided the only thing that matters is that you openly support Donald Trump or not this moment. That too, is as clear and obvious a mistake as you can possibly make. All of these people, were Never Trumpers. They are the core of that, who started, and who despite appearances, are still NeverTrump. Because when they said Never, they meant Never. These are the same people who fought him in 2016. Told him to give up and pushed back against Stop the Steal. Propped up Ron DeSantis to remove Trump. And now, they are trying to destroy his legacy, and maneuver around the best shot at continuing Trumps legacy, a JD Vance presidency. These are the same people constantly calling him Groyper, Woke Right, or otherwise smearing him as they do us. Their play is obvious. They are laying the groundwork for post mid-terms, betting on a loss, that they will blame all of us, whether we like Trump or not, that we built a poisonous, extreme and dangerous climate, that Trump appealed too much to us, and that they need to moderate, go left, and axe all of us. All of this in service to defeat Vance, who will by far be the most favorable to our camp, and at a minimum, not have an AG which targets us and tries to shut down our organizations, and will continue the deportation agenda. The guy who is objectively the best for us, in favor of a president Ted Cruz, who would be terrible. So, the best thing you can do right now to prevent this, particularly if you actually care about utilizing the system for our interests, is to go on the offensive against the Mark Levins of the world, hit them on their record of being Anti-Trump, accuse them of being serpents whispering in the ear of the president, and work to make sure the Republicans don’t lose in 2026, which they are really hoping happens in order to further their own narrative. Also, know that we either Survive Together, or Hang Separately.
