I’ve been using AI to write nearly all my code for months, and I have access to tools that enable me to work on multiple tasks in parallel. I’m more productive than ever, yet end the day feeling like I’m not doing enough.

I can build things now that would've taken me months before, which is exciting. But I've also got like twelve projects spinning in my head at once and my brain is tired in a way it never used to be. I don’t know what to do with that, but there it is.

@andrewculver The future? I’m not sure I would go that far, but it definitely makes building highly interactive front ends with JS frameworks backed by Rails much, much easier. Completely negates the need to build an API layer to power the front end. It’s really great.

Rails people, is Inertia Rails the real future of the frontend on Rails? I am hearing this more and more.

I've been using AI to generate 100% of my code over the last few months. This is what I've learned about how to get the best results:

If you budget with a partner, what's your favorite method/software/tool? We used to use mint (rip) but it was too nitpicky for us so we didn't keep up with it.

@andrewculver I can't explain it, but I just tried this and completely agree - doing this from now on.

@kirplatonov We ran into this exact issue when we integrated with a certain 3rd party script. Incredibly frustrating but we ended up solving it the same way. 🤘🏻

Did you know that in Hotwire Turbo you can customize page renderer to replace only part of the page instead of the whole body? 🔥 Very handy when you have 3rd party scripts with iframe (like HelpScout/Intercom/Stripe) that shouldn't be reloaded during navigation.

Over the past decade, ClickFunnels has evolved from a tool into a movement—a thriving community, a marketing hub, and the backbone of countless businesses. ClickFunnels 2.0 wasn’t just an upgrade; it became the standard. So, we’re dropping “2.0.” It’s just ClickFunnels now—the ultimate platform for launching, growing & scaling. Same mission. Bold new vibe. We make entrepreneurship easy (and fun!). You built a dream—now build it a funnel. 🚀 #DreamBigDoBig #FunnelYourWayToSuccess #ClickFunnels

This is the part of the equation that's so often left out of this. Sure, if you raise $50m to do a calendar/todolist/issue tracker, you can afford to throw dozens of engineers at every micro optimization. If you play with your own money, you pick profitable problems to solve.

Here is a Stimulus controller that comes in handy: `event` Use it to emit CustomEvent that other controllers can listen for. Here I use it on a button to emit an event to open a drawer and load the provided URL as the content of the drawer. Certainly other ways to achieve this, but this has worked well for me

Super excited to have snagged a ticket this year! Let’s go! #railsworld
Ruby on Rails@rails

#RailsWorld is now sold out. We can't wait to welcome you to Toronto! If there are any unclaimed or returned tickets from sponsors, we will release a second, smaller batch later in the year.

If you're using Tailwind IntelliSense extension in VSCode with @rails, it won't work with embedded ruby. However, if you add this to your settings.json, it will: "tailwindCSS.experimental.classRegex": ["class:\\s*\"([^\"]*)\"", "class:\\s*'([^']*)'"],
