@QuickBooks And your description of the issue isn’t even close. You say tax isn’t calculating correcting. The real issue is the entire tax module is gone. Two very different things. Step up and be honest.

@QuickBooks Why did I have to prompt you for this update? It’s been happening for over an hour. And the QBO says there is a minor interruption in service? Yeah I’m pretty sure this is “don’t use it or risk recreating all entries again” kind of issue. At least advise your clients.

@QuickBooks Tried contacting support and no one ever responded. Probably because everyone in Canada (at least) is having an aneurysm with QBO getting rid of the sales tax module. This is pretty terrible and my first thought was “how long would it take me to switch to Xero”

@PierrePoilievre What’s the solution? Canada needs better options than just increasing GST benefits. And that’s where the Conservatives have and can shine. Plausible solutions that work on the cost/supply side of the equation and not the consumption side.

@PierrePoilievre Pierre, you should look at segmented data based on type of housing and not just total units. Condos, semi detached, detached. The difference matters.
