I haven't used openapi-typescript fully tbh. Orval is full-featured though and it's pluggable with your on fetch preference (Axios, Redaxios, fetch etc). Using the options instead of custom hooks feels like you're opting out of Orval's core feature. So probably not the tool for you.

@davedbase Cool! Do you think Orval is better than openapi-typescript? I prefer for tanstack query to use the options instead of creating custom hooks. It it possible to do with Orval? openapi-ts.dev

@mileswjohnson @thdxr Good to know, thanks for the feedback! I've been a big supporter of our UI libs, funding them from our OpenCollective. Right now we're caught between maintaining 1.0 and planning for 2.0. We'll push a lot harder on this to make it as-good as Reactland.

@davedbase @thdxr I built my saas on kobalte. It's fine, but definitely not up to the caliber of React UI libs like base, mantine, radix, etc. IMO UI libs and meta frameworks are what sells it, and solid has historically been lacking here.

saw a question asking if solid-js is still relevant frontend talk has been mostly replaced by ai talk but it's quietly grown 6x in a year in opencode - tui in solid - tauri in solid - web app in solid-start - enterprise app in solid
