In 2021, I was very excited about Solid's Universal Renderer API and Native mobile development Today, we're shipping it Zynth is a fine-grained reactive runtime for iOS and Android, built on @solid_js principles, one codebase, authentic native feel, smooth animations without blocking JS We have Zend on the App Store. We're in open alpha. github.com/zynth-org/zynth

Using solid on mobile devices is obviously the most interesting thing about this release, but I'm excited to know that it can be done with WebGL and Solid. 🤔

Unpopular opinion: "AI makes everyone a developer" is true the same way "cameras makes everyone a photographer"

Happy to announce TSRX. Think it as the spiritual successor to JSX. We extracted it from Ripple, and made it framework agnostic. It can compile to React, Ripple and Solid, other frameworks to come soon. It's a TypeScript superset language, with a parser, compiler and a selection of plugins for editors + Prettier + ESlint, etc It's early alpha but we thought people might be interested in it. 🧵

@davedbase It doesn't have to be Ripple to you, it can be "Render". "TypeScript Render Extensions". There ya go.

Best thing you can do for Canada is drop out as leader and let a more competent and less tainted one take over. You continuously fail your party yet for your own ego and a misguided loyalty by the party choose to stay in. Do the right thing for democracy and step aside. We want unifiers not overly eager wannabe PMs.

The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them. While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7. Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for. We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel. We will continue to fight for safety in our streets. We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers. I will continue to lead that fight every day and in every way in Parliament, across the country and in the next election, when Canadians will reclaim the country we know and love.

I'm not an AI-fanatic but talking to anti-AI people can be so difficult. They have a lot of valid concerns but a lot of it is also hysteria. Reminds me of the term "Luddite": "The Luddites were members of a 19th-century movement of English textile workers who opposed the use of certain types of automated machinery due to concerns relating to worker pay and output quality." Read more here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luddite This is going to start happening if it hasn't already. This current moment in history feels like a similar transition. History just repeating itself.

I haven't used openapi-typescript fully tbh. Orval is full-featured though and it's pluggable with your on fetch preference (Axios, Redaxios, fetch etc). Using the options instead of custom hooks feels like you're opting out of Orval's core feature. So probably not the tool for you.

@davedbase Cool! Do you think Orval is better than openapi-typescript? I prefer for tanstack query to use the options instead of creating custom hooks. It it possible to do with Orval? openapi-ts.dev

@dotansimha love what you're doing with the graphql codegen effort! Is there someone else who's helping you maintain it? Hoping to get PR #1355 deployed for my team. Let me know how I can help! Thanks for all the great work you do.
