@HopLegion @danwiederer Think they know they need help desperately. Is what it is.
English

@danwiederer I understand the move, but this is an interesting comment given Ben also noted 2 days ago he wanted the leaders in that locker room to step up a bit in regards to helping to prevent the penalties which have been an issue.
English

New Bears DB C.J. Gardner-Johnson has developed a reputation as surly and, at times, combustible. So how, with the vision Ben Johnson is trying to bring to life in his locker room, does he make sure Gardner-Johnson fits in properly?
"We have a very strong locker room. We have a positive veteran influence in there. We feel very strongly about that group. Nothing is more important than our locker room to be clear with you. So that is certainly first and foremost with any decision we make with who we bring in or who we let go. I think we are all aware of how important that is and the fit he has within that locker room."
English

@BillyInforsey @670TheScore @LaurenceWHolmes @MattSpiegs The lucky part was the pick by the WR. I forgot who was blocking but Troy said it wasn’t designed to be a pick play but the WR ended up taking out the 2 defenders. That’s why swift was so open.
English

@670TheScore @LaurenceWHolmes @MattSpiegs I think when he said “they got lucky” with the Swift TD, that was the one that was a little weird to say. The other criticisms were normal and justified. But either way I get that you wouldn’t talk negatively about Troy bc you want him to come back on the show.
English

.@LaurenceWHolmes and @MattSpiegs didn't find Troy Aikman's criticism of Caleb Williams to be egregious, even if they disagreed with parts of it.
He holds quarterbacks to a high standard, Holmes says.
"It's OK to tell the truth about him being a work in progress," Spiegel says.

@BearsFanSteven @sheanorling Show more how is my question? I don’t give a shit how much he makes, what decisions did he make that you think cost them this series? You’re just saying bs talking points that espn or whoever would say.
English

I am not talking about tonight's game. The Cubs paid him $8 million a year to lure him to Chicago, and this team lost the division and got bounced in the NLDS in the same year.
Is he worth that much? Is he a good manager? There are plenty of questions being asked about him during the regular season and postseason.
Next season will be a crossroads for both the Cubs and Counsell. If the team goes back to the meddling .500 team again, does he want to stay with an organization that is not committed to winning?
English

@BearsFanSteven @sheanorling What else is he supposed to freaking do? Not trying to be a smart ass but what legit what did you want him to do different?
English

@sheanorling I said this before, and I will say it again. The fact that they are still thriving without a sleepy face, Craig Counsell, is a huge red flag. It's like they are glad he is gone.
English

@WilliamsFC18 @CubsWorld80 @JesseRogersESPN Soroka. Whoever you designate injured isn’t available for next series, I’d rather have brown than soroka. Don’t think they’re doing it though either way lol
English

@CubsWorld80 @JesseRogersESPN If you look back he is for game 5 of the nlds if they made it there. They just need to designate Brown as injured
English

@obvious_shirts @jacobzanolla You’re fine lol. Just want a cubs win today dammit.
English

@ddls17 @jacobzanolla Ok fair. I’m so sensitive. I apologize
English

@obvious_shirts @jacobzanolla Again if you want busch to take on the lefty, not gonna argue that point. But not gonna kill Craig over putting turner in for one at bat either.
English

@ddls17 @jacobzanolla What are Busch’s splits bs lefties this year
English

@obvious_shirts @jacobzanolla It’s one at bat. If you disagree with turner hitting a lefty over busch, can’t really argue but Busch is going back in after the first inning.
English

@jacobzanolla Why are taking AB’s away from our hottest hitter

Here’s my #Bears postgame podcast.
Everyone at Halas Hall has to wear this one. But there’s one person in particular, whose whole file needs to be reviewed:

@GasMoneyBob Almost positive some of the hosts are gonna defend what hes saying. Just wait.
English

@AaronLemingNFL @lowe074 That’s the fucking point dude lol. But Tyler is credible right? Hes nothing more than a clickbait artist, but according to you hes a good journalist?
English

@lowe074 I don’t know what they know. Obviously, if there’s no proof or it’s not fact, it’s a huge issue & likely lawsuit worthy. That’s always the issue with stuff like this & why it’s dangerous to put it out there unless you have proof.
English

Exactly my takeaway. I know it’s been a hot topic but none of this really matters starting Monday.
If Ben Johnson is the HC we all believe he’s going to be & Caleb Williams is the QB I had hoped he would be, they’ll be just fine. #Bears

Breaking news The Bears were a 💩 show last year and needed to get things fixed. Thank you for the article it was interesting to read that the coaches thought it was the players fault and the players thought it was the coach’s fault ( same story in every building ). 🤬 fix it
English

They weren’t live and that’s the problem. Bears defense was live. Miami’s defense wasn’t live.
There is a respect level to how you handle yourself in a joint practice. Football is a violent sport, but the rules of engagement gotta be clearly defined.
Nobody checked the Bears defense. It is what it is.
Ciaran@CiaranFB
@OmarKelly @PoupartNFL Um. It’s a padded practice and they’re going live. It’s not touch football.
English

@Ciaran_NFL @OmarKelly The reporter isn’t answering that question lol. Like with your 1000 years of experience watching joint practices, if bears are dirty why the f didn’t the coach say anything lol. He won’t ask the coach that question.
English

@OmarKelly Well then if you as a reporter are concerned about this. You have the ability to ask that question don’t you? Did you ask the coaches of it?
I’m sure if McDaniel thought it was “cheap” as you explain. That would’ve been brought up.
English

@newmanusps1313 @OmarKelly They could’ve but didn’t. And they won’t have a chance cause pretty much all the bears starters aren’t paying Sunday. That’s where the soft tag comes from for the dolphins. I still don’t understand why McDaniel didn’t say anything if the bears weren’t being “respectful”
