When leaders use charity moments for visibility rather than genuine service, it looks performative, a kind of “plastic empathy.” Kulang na lang subuan pa nila ang tao. This doesn’t look like a normal act of kindness, it’s a performative display to look good.
This is exactly what I meant about the Yellow/Pink style, they “sweet-talk or sweet-acts" their followers with acts like this, even when it’s so obviously staged.

JUST IN: Former DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, who is on a lookout order, has left the country for the United States, the Bureau of Immigration said.
The agency said the Justice Department cleared Bonoan's exit as he has no hold departure order or warrant of arrest.
