Chatted directly to the GZW devs about this and other PVP loop issues. They have some solid ideas in the mix for fixing the PVP woes and are working with feedback from both creators and community members. I do wish THIS was the update to get those changes, but we'll wait n see!

Carnivore is expensive if you let Instagram tell you what to eat. If you are sourcing your beef from a ranch in Montana where the cows listen to Wagner and are massaged by someone with a degree in bovine wellness, yes, it gets pricey. If you're buying bone broth that has been "activated" and comes in a glass jar with a wax seal and a label that uses the word "ancestral" seventeen times, yes, that costs money. If you need the tallow rendered from a specific breed, at altitude, under a full moon, by a woman named something ending in -a who describes herself as a "regenerative nutrition guide": then yes, you are going to find carnivore an expensive proposition. But the influencer grift has nothing to do with the diet. The diet is eggs, ground beef, and cheese. It is Aldi ground beef at £2.50 and eggs from the local farm shop at £1.80 a dozen. It is sardines in a tin. It is the beef shank the butcher is genuinely grateful for you to take off his hands. People have been eating meat on peasant incomes for millennia. They did not have a Substack. They did not need one. The expensive version of carnivore is a lifestyle product. The actual carnivore diet is mince and eggs and the quiet dignity of someone who doesn't pay £18 for a bag of beef crisps with a skull on the packaging. Buy the ground beef. It works.
