I posted a photo today supporting Scotland and I’ve been told I’ll never be Scottish because I’m brown. The idea is abhorrent. It should be challenged wherever it appears, and we’re not having nearly enough conversations about its growing acceptance.

One of my old coworkers lived in Finland for a decade, and she said her outgoing, chipper personality resulted in her being almost completely isolated. So isolated in fact that she started a multicultural society for other immigrants from around the world who were experiencing the same thing. I think I would lose my mind.

I find this right-wing cruelty to be so viscerally upsetting. The spectacle of adults publicly dissecting the identity of a 14 year old child is just so depraved.
