Someone is trying really hard for Man United to miss out on Champions League football.
Fabrizio Romano@FabrizioRomano
🚨⚠️ Harry Maguire set to be banned for +1 game as “FA uphold charge of misconduct”, reports @lauriewhitwell. Man United could be without Maguire and Lisandro Martínez against Chelsea. ⛔️

🎙️ Patrice Evra on VAR:
“Is VAR seeing something different from what we all see on replays?
From Lisandro’s reaction, it’s obvious it wasn’t deliberate. He’s a professional. He’s played at the highest level. He’s not stupid.
It’s a normal duel. Calvert-Lewin uses his arm, like he did with Yoro. Lisandro reacts, makes contact, briefly grabs his hair, and lets go immediately.
How does VAR not see that his vision is blocked with Calvert-Lewin’s arm across his face?
Fans see it clearly. VAR doesn’t. So what is it?
From the same replay, Calvert-Lewin even tries to grab Lisandro’s hair as well. He just can’t.
And that’s a red card on Lisandro?”

English

@manufcnow Wow…now he knows how it felt for all other teams meeting Sir Alex protected United. Hypocrisy at the highest level…

🚨Roy Keane on the refereeing vs Leeds:
"Disgraceful. Absolutely disgraceful. That referee didn't just make mistakes, he was actively working against Man United. Every 50-50 went to Leeds, every dive got rewarded."
"I've seen more honest referees in Sunday league. This wasn't a game, it was a bloody conspiracy with a whistle."

English

🚨 Dominic Calvert-Lewin on Lisandro Martínez’s red card incident:
🗣️ “I felt like my hair had been pulled. I reported it to the referee, and it’s up to him to make the decision.
It’s a shame for him. Whether he did it on purpose or not, I don’t hold it against him, but that’s how it is.”
Of course, you didn’t make the law — but what is the law for when officials make unfair decisions and give different calls for similar incidents?
VAR stays silent on a late challenge with six studs over the shin.
VAR stays silent for a clear hand to the face.
Then it interferes minutes later because it finds a minor act against the law for pulling hair.
Funny enough, there’s no law that punishes a referee for bad or inconsistent officiating — at least not within the Laws of the Game.

@MUFCDarren_ Casemiro should’ve got a yellow for simulation…
He never got the elbow on him. Calvert Lewin jumped higher, had his arm to his body and Casemiro couldn’t jump because of Calvert Lewin arm being in the way. Never a deliberate elbow because the elbow wasn’t there…it was behind…
English

Calvert-Lewin used his elbow on Casemiro, but the referee didn’t give him a yellow card for it. You can see that Casemiro was angry, we need to investigate that referee now.
Darren@MUFCDarren_
Calvert lewin not getting yellow card yesterday is still crazy to me
English

@Lc92uk @ThatLFCTrio @JacobsBen And how was Lisandros pull of Calvert Lewin hair ”just a touch” as Carrick said? 🤣😂
English

@manufcnow The rat Bruno wants the rules to give United special treatment. They can’t stand being judge the same as every other team
English

Ball was only in play for just over 3 of the added 7 minutes, but Paul Tierney blows exactly on the 7th minute mark make it make sense?
UnitedRedReport@UnitedRedReport
Stoppage 90:00-90:22- 22 Seconds. Stoppage 90:27-91:00- 33 Seconds. Stoppage 91:21-92:00- 39 Seconds. Stoppage 92:03-92:25- 22 Seconds. Stoppage 93:13-93:24- 11 Seconds. Stoppage 94:39-95:24- 45 Seconds. Stoppage 96:17-96:47- 30 Seconds. Ball OOP 3:36 out of 7 minutes.
English

🚨 Mark Clattenburg on Lisandro Martínez’s red card:
“I was surprised that such an experienced referee considered this a red card offence. It was clearly a 50/50 challenge for the ball.
I think the referee’s seniority within the VAR group may have made others hesitant to overturn his on-field decision.
In my opinion, this was a clear mistake. When we talk about ‘clear and obvious errors’, most referees would not have sent him off for that challenge.”

English

@mrV_embaga @FabrizioRomano Reflex action? You’re kidding. He search for his hair and grabs it. Martinez 100% deliberately pulled Calvert Lewin hair
English

@doorstopisch @FabrizioRomano According to the rules he should be given red card. However, to me, he shouldn't coz it was a reflex action & not deliberate.
English

@rioferdy5 @RioMeets Just stop it. Martinez deliberately searched and grabbed for Calvert Lewins hair. He deliberately pulled his hair. In the rule book it says that it is violent conduct.
United were battered by a better Leeds. Live with it…
English

@FPLfrasier Oh the United tears…the level of hypocrisy is astounding. No issues at all when all other clubs are being mistreated against United, but when United lose a game the privileged fans of United cries rivers…😂🤣
English

@FabrizioRomano Whining moaning rat! He doesn’t have any issues with all other teams being treated unfairly when meeting United.
Red card was correct according to rules
English

@mrV_embaga @FabrizioRomano Ridiculous. Martinez REACHED for Calvert Lewins hair. It wasn’t just a coincidence. It was deliberate. Red card according to the rules…
English

@FabrizioRomano Honestly, I don't think that the red card given to Martinez was the right decision. That's wasn't a deliberate act. It looked like a moment of nervousness and reflex action rather than deliberate intent.

Shabu, Nigeria 🇳🇬 English

@FabrizioRomano Typical United. One rule book for Sir Alex boys and one for all the rest. I grew up watching that era.
English

@rioferdy5 @FA_PGMOL Now you know how it feels for all other teams when they met United in Sir Alex era. Feels nice doesn’t it?
Leeds won by being the better team. Simple.
