@drhapgood

You've just got to go for it. (These are my thoughts and my thoughts alone, please don’t be offended by my honesty). #mutualdebate

Brad Pitt almost quit Snatch the night before filming because he couldn’t nail Mickey’s Irish accent. By midnight he had a breakthrough, delivering a voice so incomprehensible studio asked for subtitles. “That’s the joke. You’re not meant to understand.”

What options do we have if Rosenior is sacked, the obvious one for me is to get John Terry in as stop gap till the summer. If nothing else at least John Terry can sort out a few of these players who seem to not care.

BBC confirms the US is responsible for the Minab school massacre that killed 175 people, mostly girls. The "advanced" AI targeting system used outdated coordinates to hit a base next door, ignoring satellite images showing kids playing in the courtyard. Absolute war crime.

🚨 BOLTON WARNS EUROPE: THIS COULD BACKFIRE HARD John Bolton has just laid out a consequence European leaders may not have fully thought through. By dismissing Iran as “not our war”, Europe may be triggering something far bigger. Because the response from Donald Trump is predictable: “Then Ukraine isn’t our war either.” That’s the strategic risk. For years, Europe has leaned heavily on American: Military support Financial backing Security guarantees Particularly in Ukraine. But alliances are reciprocal. If Europe chooses to step back when the U.S. faces a major geopolitical confrontation… It opens the door for Washington to do the same. And that changes everything. Bolton’s warning cuts to the core of alliance politics: You don’t get to pick when solidarity applies. Because once that precedent is set… NATO cohesion fractures Support for Ukraine becomes uncertain And the entire Western alliance enters a new phase of transactional relationships Europe may think it’s avoiding escalation. But in reality, it may be inviting a strategic reset — one that leaves it far more exposed than before. The question now is whether European leaders recognise the gamble they’re making… Before the consequences arrive.

Many Chelsea supporters think the decision to sell Chelsea FC to the US consortium BlueCo in 2022 was unwise and has worked out badly. Just to remind you, the culture secretary responsible for approving the deal was Nadine Dorries, and the prime minister was Boris Johnson.

Rayner - accidentally avoided £40k in tax, repaid the money, had to resign. Tice - deliberately avoided £600k in tax, hasn’t repaid anything. 15x the money, infinitely more immoral. He’ll resign as an MP, right? He can just be a shadow MP going forward.

He wants to deploy UK forces we don’t have to keep oil and gas flowing 3,000 miles away but forbids any new investment in our sector of the North Sea. Bonkers.

31st January 2023. Every Manager of Chelsea since this tragic day where a £105m was wasted, had tried to find solutions to the problems this man brings. Three years later, there is still no answer to Enzo Fernandez, you simply cannot have him in your midfield if you want to do anything serious in English Football. Premier League is not for him, he is a good player, would look class in another League, but English Football, every team that is a professional club will have academy boys that can run straight through this man. Chelsea have their defence always exposed, and Caicedo, who isn't a complete 6'2 Number 6, has to try his best to cover for this man's weaknesses, but it's almost impossible. He has to be sold, we can make our money back, go use it on someone who can protect the team, and still progress play, and also cover Palmer and let him be free, like an Elliot Anderson, would be a transformative signing like a Declan Rice for Arsenal. Otherwise, we won't win anything.

1/ Global events demonstrate the need to go further and faster in our drive for clean power, because there can be no energy security while we are so dependent on fossil fuels. That’s why we’re accelerating our clean power mission. lbc.co.uk/article/ed-mil…
