lovely image. kinda sad to see India fall so much behind in launches. rapid privatization is needed. - quality of talent GoI could draw in 70s is not possible now when good talent has many other options - even worse - have to compete with Musk / Bezos et al.

This is the shot you can’t get from the press site. This camera was sitting a few football fields from the SLS rocket at Pad 39B for days before launch, baking in the Florida sun, surviving rain, humidity, and whatever else the Cape threw at it. No photographer behind the viewfinder. Just a camera, a sound trigger, and a bet. The way pad remotes work: you set your camera up days in advance, dial in your composition, lock everything down, and walk away. You don’t touch it again until after the launch. The shutter fires on sound activation with a @MiopsTrigger smart+ trigger. With SLS, the four RS-25 engines ignite six seconds before the solid rocket boosters, so the camera is already firing before the vehicle even leaves the pad. You get home, pull the card, and find out if you nailed it or if a bird landed on your lens two days ago and left your a present and you got 400 photos of soemthing crappy. There’s no formula for protecting your gear this close. Some photographers build wooden boxes with doors that pop open. Some use plastic bags and tape. Some do plastic or metal barn door rigs on hinges. I tend to leave mine open just in plastic rain covers because boxes limit my composition and setup time, but that means your cameras are more exposed to the elements and whatever energy and debris comes off the pad. You’re basically gambling a camera body every time you set one. That’s what I love about this genre. There’s no playbook. You make it up as you go. Every time is an adventure. 📸 credit: me for @SuperclusterHQ - Artemis II pad remote | ~1,000 ft from Pad 39B | Kennedy Space Center

@deepigoyal Sir, with all due respect, such a toy already exists in the world. Then why lie on purpose when a simple search can burst your lie? You have zero innovation in this product. Maybe it can be a second Galgotia dog loading. Please stop this BS.

We just completed a successful flight for our tech demonstrator, Lat One v0.2. Lat Aerospace is building ultra-short takeoff and landing aircraft using blown wing technology. Think fixed-wing performance with near-helicopter access. A couple of months ago, v0.1 achieved uSTOL but crashed shortly after. That was expected. v0.2 was about completing the full mission, and it did. The blown wing concept worked in reality. Closed-loop control got validated. We'd predicted a cruise speed of 30-32 m/s and cruised comfortably at 33. No thermal issues despite a burning afternoon. The quick-detach wings held through aggressive turns. Was in the air for over 6 minutes. Smooth touchdown, and ready to fly again. But the thing that makes me the happiest isn't any of that. It's that our CFD studies, aerodynamic models, SIL simulations, and flight logs all match, almost perfectly. That's what real engineering looks like. I am so proud of our team. A long way to go, and we are getting there. @lataerospace @surobhidas

For the very first time, the Indian Navy revealed a striking detail from Op Sindoor⚡🇮🇳: During an ISR mission over mountainous terrain (J&K?), an Indian Navy P-8I was engaged by hostile missile (PL-15/HQ-9?). However, it successfully evaded the threat and completed its mission.

@Hunny326892 @nvmhacker @talk2anuradha Govt employees are overpaid as hell! That's a fact! But, pay commission every year? When did that happen? India will celebrate its 80th year of independence soon, but last time I checked, we have the 8th pay commission, the latest! Maybe you and I are from diff countries!

@drmnmb Nah this handle’s nos are an outlier. TN politics now has no tall personality. And so Vijay with a large but demographically limited fan following is looking like he’s the second most popular leader after Stalin. Conversion of crowds to votes is the million dollar questions

Been following this handle’s TN election posts and his method is fascinating. At the minimum we have to agree that this election could be quite open. Disregard anyone claiming comfortable win for either the DMK or ADMK alliance.

Tamilnadu assembly elections 2026. New update after today's trip. 1. Tamilnadu 234 seats. 2. Voters heard in TN- 31543 voters. 3. NDA-8 seats, getting decimated completely. The women vote has just collapsed. In today's trip, they got just 18.3% women votes. However in many rural areas, the male vote for NDA is number 1 at some 37%/38%, but the collapse of woman vote is pushing NDA deep in red territory. 4. DMK- 25 seats, just about surviving. 5. TVK- 156 seats. Being powered by women, youngsters, middle aged couples, Chennai middle class, urban town voters, sections of minorities, neutral change desiring voters. Children of non voting age are pressurizing parents to vote TVK and that is having effect. 6. Balance 45 seats undecided. 7. TVK seems demolishing NDA in all its strongholds of Salem, Namakkal, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, seats in Madurai, Theni. 8. TVK is winning some urban seats in Delta. 9. In Chennai and greater Chennai, TVK leads over DMK, may win 60% seats minimum. 10. The belt from Chennai to Bangalore is seeing a big TVK wave and most seats are being won by TVK. 11. In the end, some good MLAs with strong local connect may be surviving this change wave in TN like Periyakaruppan in Tirupattur (Sivaganga), Periyasami (Athoor), Chakrapani (Oddanchatram), Ramachandran (Thalli), Vijaybhaskar (Viralimalai). Note Tirupattur Sivaganga is still TVK in my excel due to strong town women vote preference for TVK, but my gut instinct says DMK will hold this seat. 12. Getting lot of irritated trolls commenting that polls at bus stands, tea stalls are not surveys, my reply is people at bus stands are voters, people at tea stalls are voters, voters are just voters everywhere. 13. TVK leads in 3 minority seats of Vaniyambadi, Ambur and Kadayanallur. 14. Tiruvannamalai may be the shocker of a loss for DMK strongman to TVK. 15. The BJP candidate list might come out by Diwali looking at the tensions. BJP needs to replace its current TN chief and reappoint Annamalai with full freedom. BJP needs to move away from elite Gurumurthies, Rajagopalans, RDuraiswamis. Amit Shah strategy below the Vindhyas towards South India is worse than Titanic, he needs to retire or give up TN strategy. Upper caste elites sitting in AC homes will not be able to relate to voters on the streets of Tamilnadu, the one guy who was able to orrinary street voters relate is Annamalai. 16. Easter weekend coming up and yours truly will be on ground again. Today met a Sivakasi voter in Thalli region, a lady who is voting TVK and says she recognizes Keerthana who is TVK candidate as some kind of social worker. 17. Thanks for all interactions. Fascinating elections with opinion polls giving wins to all parties. 18. Agni, CVoter and Vamsi say DMK will win. 19. News18 (VoteVibe), IdhamValam, Savyasachi say Nda edge. 20. Edwin and myself say TVK wins.
