Brits are one bunch of lucky bastards. No question penalty. But did this really need to be repeated? #engcro

Time they banned stuttering run ups. Not fair on keeper or defenders.... #engcro

@SkySports England get to play in an air conditioned temperature controlled stadium tonight. Think that helps more than a little more travel hurts

Calf injuries are one of the worst injuries a footballer can get.
Messi purposely stepped on his opponent’s calf, and that could have caused a very serious injury or even a leg break.
VAR checked it, yet there was no yellow card or red card because he is Messi. 😳
The agenda for Argentina has started again

Morocco on Friday, I’m assuming we are back to a 4-5-1? We need to get a hold of midfield and take control of that.

@gergmitch Tell us you dont understand world cup qualification without saying it. Won our group. Nothing to do with expanded tournament

@Lfcbami3 First half Uruguay were awful. He'd have had decent service 2nd half.

@InvertTheWing We're complaining coz its not needed and just an excuse for adverts in the USA.

@JamboAldo @theSNP It was one day ago. Take the day off to work on your counting skills
English

Nothing says “tinpot” like @theSNP handing out a bank holiday to public sector workers (the private sector can’t afford to virtue signal) because of a football match 2 days ago… Just utterly pathetic.

@GeorgeFoulkes @JohnSwinney Yeah...in less than 2 years. Serial complainer aren't you

As we see all the great stadia in USA, Mexico & Canada it makes us realise that Hampden is a slum by comparison It is due to be one of 9 stadia for the EUROS in 2028. If it is not totally upgraded or replaced by then it will be a National Embarrassment
Action please @JohnSwinney

@ernest_mcfc @TouchlineX He said that. They were playing in a covered air conditioned stadium...no need for a hydration break....at all
English

@TouchlineX This guy
Sometimes they are necessary
You can’t just play 45 minutes all through in that sunshine heat

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Virgil van Dijk speaks out against the hydration breaks!
🗣️ “I have been watching almost every game and I don’t really like the hydration breaks. And for the people watching on television it’s also not great.”
“If it’s REALLY HOT, then obviously you need it, but you need to look at it game by game.”
“But I think I have said enough already…..”

@MatchReportH We deserve to know why only one yellow card shown and why every header we won was a foul...these weren't penalties...lol

🚨🇭🇹 “WE DESERVE ANSWERS” — HAITI CAPTAIN JOHNNY PLACIDE QUESTIONS OFFICIATING AFTER SCOTLAND DEFEAT
🗣️ Johnny Placide:
“This is not about making excuses. Scotland played their game and got the result, and we respect them for that. But at the same time, we cannot ignore what happened on the pitch.”
“There were two moments that, from where we stood, looked like clear penalties. We waited for VAR to intervene, we waited for explanations, but nothing came. As players, we dedicate our lives to this competition, so naturally we want clarity.”
“All we are asking for is transparency. If those incidents were not penalties, then tell us why. Show us the reasoning. Let the fans understand the decision-making process. Football is the biggest sport in the world and accountability should be part of it.”
💔 “The dressing room was silent after the final whistle. Many players felt heartbroken because we believed we had done enough to get something from the match. Moments like these can change games, especially at a World Cup where every point matters.”
🇭🇹 “Haiti may not be one of the traditional giants of world football, but our players, our supporters and our nation deserve the same respect as everyone else. We are proud to represent our country and we simply want fairness.”
The comments have sparked widespread debate among supporters, with many Haiti fans demanding greater transparency from officials following the controversial defeat to Scotlan.
