In recognition of the strategic leadership of His Excellency Senator John Enoh @OwanEnoh, his commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda as the Minister of State for Industry @fmitiofficial , his influence in Cross River State as past state and federal legislator, and governorship aspirant, and his contribution to national industrial growth under the administration of @officialABAT, the Tinubu Impact Movement (TIM) @tim2027_ was proud to formally confer on him the position of TIM Leader. He graciously accepted this recognition, and immediately began playing this role of strengthening TIM’s structure in Cross River State by presenting to Engr. Sylvester Ogar (his SA Intervention) his appointment letter as the TIM Coordinator for Cross River State. The Honourable Minister praised the selection of Engr. Sylvester Ogar as a grassroots mobiliser. He specifically noted Engr. Ogar’s access to a strong database of over 25,000 APC political leaders across Cross River State, an asset that strengthens mobilisation, coordination, and outreach. We sincerely thank the Honourable Minister for his time, his leadership, and his unwavering commitment to national progress. The journey continues, the structure is growing, and the impact is visible. Tinubu Impact Movement 2027 #RenewedHope #APC #TinubuImpactMovement #CrossRiver #IndustrialGrowth #Leadership #Policy 🇳🇬

Yesterday, I led the leadership of the Tinubu Impact Movement (TIM) @tim2027_ on a visit to the Honourable Minister of State for Industry, Distinguished Senator John Owan Enoh @OwanEnoh and what transpired can be summarized as a convergence of vision, structure, and national purpose. We came with a clear mission: to thank the minister for his contribution to the impact of the President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT administration, understand more of this achievements in @fmitiofficial, recognize him as a TIM Leader, and request him to begin that TIM leadership role by approving and presenting the appointment letter to Engr. Sylvester Ogar as the Cross River State Coordinator of TIM.. Responding, the Minister highlighted the development of Nigeria’s National Industrial Policy, a key campaign promise, as one of the achievements of his ministry among others. This is a framework designed to stimulate industrial growth, create jobs, strengthen Nigeria’s competitiveness, and expand opportunities for the private sector. He promised that his team will share more detailed achievements of the Ministry and outlined the structure of responsibilities within the Ministry which revealed that his mandate focuses on industry, while the senior minister oversees trade and investment. Beyond his official responsibilities, what stood out even more was his humility and accessibility. He spoke about his ongoing impact in Cross River State, highlighting his direct engagement with constituents. At this visit, we saw a leader who remains reachable, responsive, and connected to the grassroots in his words and actions. In my remarks as the National Chairman of TIM, I reaffirmed that our movement is a disciplined, data-driven, still members funded, and grassroots-focused collective committed to documenting and amplifying the measurable achievements of President Bola Tinubu, while building informed support for continuity beyond 2027. I emphasised that our growth is not accidental but structured with about 7,000 registered through on website portal and over 75,000 boots-on-ground nationwide. Our data shows a strong demographic base where 34.7% of our members are aged 25–35, 20.94% are 36–40, 25.54% fall between 41–65, and 12.44% are 20–24, meaning about 50% are youth (18–35) and over 65% are within the economically productive 25–45 bracket who influence households and communities. However, I noted ongoing efforts to target first time voters through campus structures as only about 2.5% of our current members are between 18 and 19 years. Furthermore, I highlighted our gender composition of 62.8% male and 37.2% female, noting ongoing efforts to deepen female inclusion, and our professional spread led by 47.1% in business and entrepreneurship and 13.5% in Education (including students), making TIM a private-sector-driven and influencer-rich movement. I spoke to our recent activities including national mobilisation, strategic partnerships, campaign materials dissemination, and engagement with key APC stakeholders while also acknowledging citizen feedback around economic realities in local communities and owed payments for completed work as TIM’s approach is not to dismiss these concerns, but to contextualise them, communicate reforms effectively, and build trust through evidence. #RenewedHope #APC #TinubuImpactMovement #CrossRiver #IndustrialGrowth #Leadership #Policy 🇳🇬

“Democracy does not thrive on silence. Yesterday, I had the privilege of representing my Principal, His Excellency @ayowisdom_ , at the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) Community Development Service (CDS) project led by NYSC Corps Member, Magaji Ndagi. A young Nigerian stepping forward to drive civic consciousness and inspire participation in our democratic process. This is the spirit of the @officialnyscng; service, leadership, and impact. At the event, I charged young people to move beyond conversations on social media and take action. Democracy thrives not on opinions alone, but on participation. Your vote is your voice. Voter registration starts the expression of this your civic right. Participation in the electoral process is your power. I also highlighted the numerous youth-focused programmes of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which are designed to support, empower and protect young Nigerians. I encouraged youth to leverage their numerical strength to support continuity of progressive leadership and ongoing reforms. Register. Participate. Lead. #CDS #CVR #NYSC #YouthEngagement #NigeriaDecides #2027Elections

INEC TASKS YOUTHS ON ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN CVR, WARNS AGAINST APATHY The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has intensified stakeholder engagement with Nigerian youths, urging them to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise as a critical step toward strengthening democratic participation and national development. The event, convened by NYSC corps member and INEC advocate, Magaji Ndagi, focused on enhancing youth participation in the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) process under the theme “Enhancing Youth Engagement in Continuous Voter Registration.” The forum had in attendance representatives of the Commission, the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), as well as students and corps members. Speaking on behalf of the Chairman of the Commission, the National Commissioner, Mallam Mohammad Kudu Haruna, who also chaired the occasion, underscored the constitutional and legal foundations underpinning voter registration in Nigeria. He noted that the right of citizens to choose their leaders is guaranteed under the Constitution, while the Electoral Act provides clear conditions for voter eligibility and procedures for registration. “A credible voters’ register remains the foundation of every free, fair, and credible election,” he stated, stressing that only citizens who are duly registered are empowered to exercise their franchise. Providing an update on the CVR exercise, Haruna explained that the first phase commenced in August and ended in December, while the ongoing second phase, which began in January, is scheduled to close shortly, to be followed by a final phase. He further highlighted statutory timelines, noting that voter registration must end at least 90 days before any general election to allow for data processing, verification, and production of Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs). Citing recent figures, he disclosed that millions of Nigerians have registered so far, with youth constituting a significant proportion, but emphasised that the numbers still fall short of expectations when compared to the demographic strength of young people. Delivering the keynote address on behalf of the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Obinna Obirim conveyed the Minister’s strong commendation of the convener, describing the initiative as a model of youth-driven leadership and civic responsibility. He noted that Nigeria’s youth population, which constitutes over 50 percent of the total population, holds the decisive power to shape democratic outcomes and national development. “Democracy does not thrive on silence. It does not grow through indifference, nor through mere expressions on social media. It flourishes when citizens actively participate,” he stated. Dr. Obirim emphasised that voter registration remains the most fundamental step in democratic participation, warning that failure to register effectively excludes individuals from influencing governance. “Your voice does not count by merely expressing opinions online. It begins when you register and is affirmed when you vote,” he added. He expressed concern that despite their numerical strength, many young Nigerians remain disengaged from the electoral process, often limiting their participation to commentary rather than action. The Minister, through his representative, urged youths to transition from passive observers to active contributors, mobilising themselves and their peers to participate in the CVR exercise and elections. He also highlighted several youth empowerment initiatives of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, including digital skills programmes, data protection training, and entrepreneurship support schemes, encouraging young people to take advantage of such opportunities.

This Lenten season has reaffirmed that God’s advice and commandments are truly for our own good, making us healthier, safer, and more fulfilled. The body feels lighter and better during fasting and abstinence from meat, alcohol, etc. Avoiding sin & occasions of sin is cost-saving and gives deep sense of peace. Praying frequently with faith prevents hopelessness and depression. #LentReflections #FaithAndHealth #SpiritualGrowth

Today, on the sidelines of President @officialABAT’s visit to the United Kingdom, the @fmydNG, in partnership with the @SMEDANGov, is hosting a strategic engagement on youth development, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This important session brings together key stakeholders to explore practical pathways for equipping young Nigerians with relevant skills, supporting enterprise growth, and leveraging technology to unlock sustainable opportunities. Taking place at 116 Pall Mall, London, the engagement underscores a sustained commitment to youth empowerment, strengthening entrepreneurship ecosystems, and positioning Nigerian youth to compete effectively on the global stage. I would have participated in person, but my visa approval was delayed and only just came back from the UKVI yesterday with a request for additional documentation due to the visa type I applied for so I asked for cancellation of my visa application. Nonetheless, I wish all of us at FMYD and participants a very successful and impactful event today. #YouthDevelopment #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #Technology #FMYD #SMEDAN
