@statesminds @TheTrinketMage The green+ commanders are both simultaneously setup and payoff for their given strategies, which TTM has noted as being a design style he's not fond of. I don't think it's that TTM hates green.

@TheTrinketMage Fire take. The best thing about blocks was the evolving narrative, especially through card design.

IDK if this is a hot take but Aetherdrift would have been really good if it was a full block. 1 set on each plane as each leg of the race! This would let each plane really shine and we could see various types vehicles from each plane! And in the 3rd set reveal the aetherspark!

@TheTrinketMage I feel like the average turns to eliminate one or more players kind of kills Voltron as a deck archetype. Or at least relegates it to bracket 3+. Turn 8 is so late to remove one player as a voltron deck.

The lads and I will talk about it on the podcast more but overall I really like the changes. I think the new infographic is good and less game changers is usually better. Although I think Urza is gonna end up going back on the list....

@TheTrinketMage How to un-streamline a deck in a way that still feels good to play? ie: how to bring a deck concept down to bracket 2 in a way that doesn't feel like adding a bunch of bloat. If possible.
