@kwrob24 @LibertyCappy You were probably taught that CFCs deplete ozone. HFCs are safer alternatives but they are greenhouse gases. An important goal of education is to learn that what "you would think" is often wrong

That HFCs caused the ozone hole over Antarctica. If true you would think the greatest hole would be where they were heavily used--North America. But we now know that the hole is seasonal and the ozone bunches up around the perimeter. And now we have to replace cooling equipment more often due to higher pressures of "green" refrigerants. #SCAM

The recent assassination of the health insurance guy has shocked me by the fact that it seems to be roundly celebrated amongst seemingly normal people. I can’t think of another assassination that was celebrated in such a way before.
